  1. So the Colts are better than the Redskins is what you're saying?

Defense for sure. Plus playing in that crap division always helps. Peyton's stats and records should have an * for playing in the AFC South. Every yard gained in that craptastic division is like .456 yards when converted to NFC East yardage.

  2. And Bob had much better players around him.. Thanks for making my point

Right. RG3 had a hall of fame wideout...wait, his top wideout was a guy the colts didn't even resign....that was hurt 50% of the season. And the Colts had a better defense. Only18 points given up on average in their 11 victories. Much more than what R3 had to work with. The defense carried that team....in the worst division of pro football.

  3. Your guy is hobbled and didn't even play a whole season.. How many games did your guy win? And don't count the two games cousins won

Team sport there spanky. Last I checked each NFL roster had 53 players.

  4. You speak as if he's not the most contributing factor as to why we are in the playoffs to begin with...

He's not. The defense only allowing 18.2 points a game in the Colts' 11 victories is. Throw out the Lions game where interceptasaurus totally wet the bed and it's even lower...I see a scrappy defense that prevents turnovers from turning into points and a QB that has more in common with Mark Sanchez than Pey Pey.

Another thing, not a single person at Sports Illustrated picked Luck to be ROTY. 5 picked Griffin and 3 picked Wilson.

    Enjoy:

The real question Colts' fans need to be asking is "who's head is on the chopping block for blowing the first overall pick?"

  5. Yes...the 26th ranked defense carried the team while the 7th ranked passing attack just let them take all the glory. Just a bunch of dead weight, I say!   lmao Go home, Skip!

Umm, it was the volume of attempts. 18th scoring offense. Far from an offensive juggernaut and below average. Considering the horrible point differential, this might be the worst 11 win team of all time. Shaky QB. Very good defense that can wet the bed any given game. A team that doesn't do anything well. I think luck is about to run out.

  6.  Also, I believe as the league gets to know the read option offense more, you are going to see his numbers go down, much like Cam Newton's this year did.

Cam's stats barely went down, and his passer rating improved. Everything is not in a vacuum...

Yes...the 26th ranked defense carried the team

    lmao

    ! Go home, Skip!

  7.  and had a better quarterback rating (76.5) than Manning (71.2) or John Unitas (74.0) in their rookie seasons.

I'm willing to bet dozens and dozens of rookie quarterbacks had a better rating than that, nice name drop by the authour though. When it comes down to it, the only thing Luck supporters can hang their hat on is wins, which is a team achievement. RG3 is the rookie of the year. The Colt's defense carried the team. In their 11 victories, opponents averaged 18.2 points per game, which is good for 5th in the league, which is pretty good since Luck had a lot of turnovers. I see a team with a great defense that has it's bad days. I don't know where the myth started with ESPN pundits that Andrew Luck is working with nothing. They clearly have an agenda...

Andrew Luck isn't even top 5. I'd give it to Hilton before him.

RG3, Muscle Hamster, Morris, WIlson should be way ahead of him. But the hype carries him...and the cancer storylline...

  8. As far as I am concerned after this weekend ALL NFC EAST TEAMS will be put out of their over rated misery..

Overrated? That would be the Colts and their pansy schedule. Three NFC East were alive in Week 17. No AFC division can say that. And that's tough talk coming from a fan of the AFC South, the worst division of all time...No wonder Peyton was able to pad his regular season stats so much...

  9. I think he is a 1200 yard rusher with a better offensive line. Not to take anything away from Alfred Morris, but he is often getting pretty good holes after getting the ball. I do believe if Ballard had the same holes, he would get the same result.

Morris is a beast. Perhaps the best power back in the league:

Morris has used his unrefined running motion to break more tackles than any other player in the NFL this season, 22. That's seven more than the next-highest tackle-breaker. He ranks third in yards after contact with 795 and ranks second in the league with 1,613 rushing.

  10. How do you know ownership wasn't telling them who to start at quarterback? You don't. I don't. If they were really trying to win, they would have made a trade for a backup from another team. Not rolled with Painter, Dan "0-16" Orlovsky, or Kerry Collins - a guy that was 2 - 11 the previous two seasons. It only takes one person to tank, the owner. He can throw a wrench in the whole thing...

  11. And without further ado, here are all the records and accomplishments of RG3 this year:

    • NFL rookie record 102.4 passer rating.  Former record of 98.1 was held by Ben Roethlisberger (2004).
    • NFL rookie record 815 rushing yards for a Quarterback.  Former record of 706 yards was held by Cam Newton (2011).
    • NFL rookie record +15 Touchdown-Interception differential (tied with Russell Wilson, 2012).  Former record of +14 was held by Dan Marino (1983).
    • 2nd in NFL history as a rookie with 65.6% completion.  Record of 66.4% is held by Ben Roethlisberger (2004).
    • NFL rookie record 1.27% of passes attempted being intercepted.  Former record of 1.98% was held by Charlie Batch (1998).
    • Led the NFL in yards per pass attempt with 8.14 YPA.  Second-best in the NFL was 8.0 YPA (Cam Newton).
    • Led the NFL in yards per rush attempt with 6.8 YPC.  Second-best in the NFL was 6.5 YPC (C.J. Spiller).
    • Joins Aaron Rodgers (2011) as the only 2 Quarterbacks in NFL history to finish a season with 8.1 yards per pass attempt, 65% pass completion, and only 1.27 INT%.
    • Joins Dan Marino (1983) as the only rookie quarterbacks in NFL history to be initially selected to the Pro-Bowl.
    • Becomes the only QB in NFL history to rush for 750 yards and finish with a passer rating over 100.0.
    • Becomes the only the 2nd QB in NFL history to rush for 750 yards and finish with a +15 TD-INT differential (Randall Cunningham, 1990).
    • Becomes the only QB in NFL history to rush for 750 yards and finish with a 4:1 TD-INT ratio.
    • Current career leader in NFL history (rookie or vet) with 4:1 touchdown-interception ratio.  Former leader of 3.47:1 was held by Aaron Rodgers.
    • Current career leader in NFL history (rookie or vet) with 620:1 yards-interception ratio.  Former leader of 457:1 was held by Aaron Rodgers.
    • On pace to be the career leader in NFL history (rookie or vet) with 65.65% completion (needs a minimum of 2500 attempts).  Current leader is Drew Brees at 65.64%.
    • Led the Washington Redskins offense to ranking #1 in yards per play, #1 in yards per pass, #2 in yards per rush, #2 in points per play, and #1 in giveaways per per game.
    • Led the Washington Redskins to their first NFC East championship since 1999 (over the defending Super Bowl champions) and their third playoff appearance in 20 years.

  13. Is it really?

Preseason expectations...   Washington and Seattle BOTH playoff teams...

Indy.?   Pete Prisco is on record as saying ...  1 win.

Nobody thought the Redskins were a playoff team:

Daniel Jeremiah, NFL.COM: They don’t have the talent to match up with the top receivers inside the division. Prediction: 6-10, fourth in NFC East.

Adam Schein, NFL.COM. Prediction: 7-9, fourth in NFC East.

Pete Prisco, CBSSPORTS.com: Redskins will not top the 21-point barrier once in 2012. Prediction: 3-13, fourth in NFC East.

Pat Kirwan, CBSSPORTS.com: The Redskins have a solid defense, but RG3 will play three of his first four games on the road, which is tough for any rookie. Prediction: 6-10, fourth in NFC East.

ESPN Magazine: The Redskins will not win a divisional game in 2012. Prediction: 2-14, fourth in NFC East.

John Clayton, ESPN.com: The Redskins' biggest need was, of course, quarterback, and they dealt four high draft picks to get one. Robert Griffin III carries the hopes of a desperate fan base and the promise of being better than Rex Grossman, even as a rookie. Prediction: 6-10, fourth in NFC East.

Rick Snider, Washington Examiner:The Redskins are all-in on rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III. But Griffin isn’t Superman, even if he wears those blue tights under his burgundy jersey. Prediction: 5-11 or 6-10 if they're lucky. 4th in NFC East.

Chris Burke, Sports Illustrated: Griffin makes the Redskins a much more dangerous team, as does the addition of Pierre Garcon at wide receiver. That said, it's easier to see Washington challenging for a playoff spot in 2013 or 2014 than it is 2012. Prediction: 6-10, fourth in NFC East.

Peter King, Sports Illustrated: Not much analysis from this one. We all know this man fought tooth and nail to keep Monk from the Hall; he's a 110% hater. Prediction: 6-10, fourth in NFC East.

Matt Miller, Bleacher Report: The Robert Griffin III show comes to Washington, and while the on-field play will be better, the record won't be. As RG3 and his new targets learn to play together, there will be bumps and bruises along the way facing an incredibly tough schedule and a young playmaker at quarterback. Prediction: 3-13, fourth in NFC East.

Andy Benoit, New York Times: Long story short, he claims the Redskins overpaid for Garcon and Morgan. Also states the offensive line is the weakest link on the offense which will lead to a limited rushing attack and a baptism by fire for RGIII. Prediction: 4th in NFC East (No win/loss prediction).

Dan Parr, Pro Football Weekly: I’m sleeping on the potential sleeper. They will make strides, but not the huge ones they need to surpass division rivals.Prediction: 4th in NFC East (No win/loss prediction).

Mike Holbrook, Pro Football Weekly: Will be improved and competitive but still not enough talent to overcome the Giants or Eagles. Could move ahead of Dallas if injuries rip apart Boys.Prediction: 4th in NFC East (No win/loss prediction).

Kevin Nogle, Phinssider: No analysis given. Prediction: 2-14.

TeamRankings.com: No analysis given. Prediction: 6-10.

but Indy played an easy schedule...

The above is the only correct thing in your entire post.
