  1. no one can know for sure right now. spoke with a physician about it and he seems to think peyton is done and really would be risking a lot to play again. basically was saying if he gets hit the wrong way one time he could easily be paralyzed. but, i do hope he gets the go-ahead to come back only if he makes an absolute FULL recovery

  2. My wifes brothers aunts sisters daughters husband overheard in a stall at the practice field that there were indeed changes on D.

Coyer got himself a new notebook and a new pencil equipped with an eraser, to be better able to make adjustments. It seems he always made them before, but they were in pen, and he had trouble deciphering the markings. Now he can erase and re-write, so it will be much clearer for him.

i had a good laugh at this

  3. i can see you are not aware of the adjustments the coaches made this week

dude NO ONE is aware of the adjustments the coaches made this week because all you do is go around to different threads and say you have "a guy" at practice, and then when people ask you what your "guy" has told you, you tell us to "wait and see" and that "jim told you first"

  4. I don't think you have to worry about that. I live in the the Philly area and I don't see why they would be in your city. They won't be in the Superbowl. I am a Colts fan. Just curious about why you don't want Eagles fans in your city?

remember last year when austin collie got knocked unconscious at the colts-eagles game? remember when they booed him as he was taken off the field? typical philly fans...here's a list of 9 more reasons, you should be aware of these!

  5. A great thought but very unlikely. When you see teams with 2 picks in the first round it's because they acquired the extra one in a trade the year before. Very, very seldom has a team traded to get a second first round pick that same year in order to package the 2 of them together. However, a multi-team trade wouldn't be completely out of the question and might have been what you were getting at.

Perhaps a team like Oakland would send us their first round 2012 pick, and then send a team like NE their 2013 first round pick and NE gets an alternate player and/or draft pick compensation while we also get one of NE's first round picks in 2012. Remember Oakland also has 2 second round picks in 2012. I wouldn't mind making a deal with Oakland to get their 2012 first, 2 2012 seconds and then whatever else we can squeeze from them in later rounds and picks for next year.

If we only get their first round, two 2nd rounds, and then some other picks, that would not be a good deal, if we're talking about the number 1 pick. Remember, last year the falcons set the standard with trading for the number 6 pick. and the number 6 pick compared to the number 1 pick is huuuuge

  6. everyone keeps talking about how the pats and the browns are the only two teams with two picks in the first round. if andrew luck is really as good as people say he is, teams are going to go crazy trying to trade into the first round in order to have more than 1 pick in the first round in order to trade that away. can that happen?

  7. Tell me what you think of this draft I came up with.

Round 1: Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford (I know, I know a lot of people don't like putting Luck in their mock draft. And I don't believe we are the worst team in the league. But, we have an extremely tough schedule and I think we'll end up with the worst record.

Round 2: Janoris Jenkins, CB, North Alabama (He's going to slip to us because of his character issues, but he is a top 15 talent.)

Round 3: T.Y. Hilton, WR/KR, Florida International University (This kid is absolutely ridiculous. I think he is one of the most underrated WRs in this draft. Anthony Gonzalez is as good as gone, and Reggie is getting older. Hilton is going to make an impact from day 1.)

Round 4: Kheeston Randall, DT, Texas (He's 6-5 305lbs and just what the doctor ordered for our defensive line.)

Round 5: James Wilson, OG, Florida (With Ryan Diem nearing the end of his career we need a big OG and James Wilson fits the bill)

Round 6: Marcus Forston, DT, Miami (FL) (Would have been a 1st or 2nd round pick, but his knee injury is going to hurt his stock greatly. Great steal in the 6th round.)

Round 7: Trevor Robinson, OG, Notre Dame (See James Wilson.)

i can't believe it...you actually put together a mock draft with andrew luck in it that i like. i'd like to see us go SS, o-line, or d-line in the 3rd though

  8. It's pretty clear to me that we are in win now mode. Obviously not at this very moment, but before Peyton went down that's what the plan was. I can't imagine that will change once he gets the green light to play next season.

With a quarterback like Manning you don't have to take that one kid outta Standford (kidding). You can take someone like a Nick Foles (not in the first round) who has raw ability and teach him the fundamentals and still get a great product. Or not! Who knows what he'll turn out like. But, this organization has to believe that improving the team around Manning and winning now. In my opinion, that means improving our secondary or wide receiver corp first, and then defensive and offensive line. WIN NOW BABY
