...then bring in Jared Lorenzen. Sure he weighs in now at about 315, but you would pay him to hand off and sling it; not run it. He's tearing it up for the River Monsters. I doubt if he would be any worse than Painter. Go J-Load! lol

Believe it or not, Lorenzen is both the General Manager and QB of the River Monsters; a team that's not even associated with any of the indoor football leagues this year. You can take a gander at his physique on youtube. Lorenzen, who had nearly the same stats as Eli Manning in college, ticked away his future by making no effort to lose weight. I have no idea if he could have ever "really" played in the NFL, but I do know that he too readily accepted his Pillsbury Throwboy image and apparently could not or would not lose weight. The Colts will probably bring in some career backup, but bottom line is that if Manning doesn't recover or if he ever gets injured again; it's over for the year.
