I made it very clear that you must write your team down. I'm not being a dictator, everyone agreed that they would do it like that.

You have "dictated" everything without consulting anyone, to include moving the draft date and threatening to shut the league down if we didnt achieve a certain number by 10 days out. I haven't taken anything out of context, you are clearly "that guy", that takes being a commisioner in a fantasy league entirely too seriously.

I'm out. And I would caution the rest of you, I've played in leagues with guys like this before as a Commish and it will not be enjoyable.

I don't need your crap. You want to leave then leave, I don't care, I don't give a crap. I have a guy who will gladly take your place.

I've never done a league with essentially a bunch of strangers, so I'm trying to make it more enjoyable. I don't think it's fun to do it with a bunch of people you don't know. The questions were for everyone to know each other a bit better.

They didn't have to answer the questions, if they didn't want to. I'm being a dictator by asking people to answer questions so we can enjoy the league more.

Sure, I take FF pretty seriously. I take a lot of things I do seriously, because that's always the best way to approach things. I want to have a well organized league. In the 15 or so leagues I have been the commissioner of, no one, and I mean no one has ever complained of anything. The league is not bad, and how dare you say I'm being a dictator.

MY GOAL IS TO HAVE FUN IN THIS LEAGUE, AND IM TAKING EVERY STEP FOR THAT TO HAPPEN. IF IM THE COMMISH, YOU WILL HAVE FUN.

Seems a bit narcissistic, but it's true. I take this stuff seriously, because you have fun if you take it seriously (being a commish that is).

I never said you didn't write your name down. I was just repeating that I said on the first page that you must do it, because I don't want some random non-forum guy joining. I have never done a yahoo league, but can he set up a queue of players to draft first before the draft to increase his chances of gettting desired players? I know you can at ESPN... just a thought.

I believe so... you would have to set up his pre-draft rankings before the draft, and then before hte live draft import that list into the draft window.

It just caught my attention that our draft is on a Saturday night. I will try my hardest to be there when it starts, but I work on Saturdays. If all goes well I could feasibly be home between 7:30 - 8:00. I may or may not be able to attend the draft AT work... I know I can do drafts on ESPN using the 'Lite' draft application they offer from work. I will try to pull some strings so I can be a full participant in the draft.

If all else fails I will set up my player queue before work and get home as soon as I can to finish with the rest of the league managers...

Does anyone know if Yahoo offers a 'Lite' draft application similar to ESPN?

Well I am in this league, which is why i'm complaining about people going MIA, but if you have a decent team on one of your other leagues I'd hop in, assuming the team was not horrible. lol
