Appropriateness and morality of the actual bet aside, I'm wondering how they would actually measure this? If he goes out for a quarter, does that quarter get deducted?

I'd go with the over for sure...

I'll be more than happy to take some of their money but of course they have the +8.5 heavily favored over the under 8.5. So it's not much of a payout. You would have to bet 172.00 to win 100.00 based on their odds that he would play 8.5+ games. Or if you feel he will play less than that, you bet 100.00 to win 142.00.

One snap is a game played.

I would gladly take the over on that.

So let me get this straight. If I get $172 on the over and I'm right, I would end up winning $272?

Yes

If you bet 172 on the over, and he plays in 9 games or more you would win 100.00, so you would get your orginal stake, and then the winnings.

To win on the under, if you bet 100, you would win 142, based on the odds provided in the screen capture in the link.

Over -172

Under +142

absolutely right..

....and he'll go out there if his arm is 80%....

He doesnt get hit often....The only way he doesn't play is if they've clinched 1st place late in the year...

..and that's not going to happen in week nine...

The payoff is low but this is a guy who never missed a game until last year.

That arm is far from 80%.

The other day he was over-throwing receivers on deep routes..

But he'd go out there even if it was bad (was my point)....

..and he'd be effective at 80% arm strength.

That's why I'm putting my money on him starting at least 14 games.

..and if you'd give me 50-50 odds..I'd flip the script and bet you he'd start ALL 16...

You can too FJC./.just send me the cash (no checks, please) and I'll bet it for both of us... :2c:

I doubt he sits out any games, even if they were to have anything locked up. He might play a series or two or a quarter in such a game, but that isn't likely to be an issue as tough as their schedule is.

For him to miss a start, it will have to be a significant issue.

Wow what an awful line, I'd be surprised if people bet under. I think I'm gonna put some money on this one... too hard to pass up.

I'd be careful with the betting sites if you live in the U.S. I have some friends that waited months after requesting payouts from offshore sites. I love sports betting, but I'd stay away until some company can open up a legal U.S. based site.
