Allen had zero receivers to throw too those first years..he didn't just magically get better with accuracy his third year ..he got better cause diggs joined the team.. -

The more I consider it, the more concerned I get. When I look at the first year statistical comparisons that I posted earlier, Mitchell looks a whole lot more like Phillip Dorsett than he does anyone else. As we go through our discussions and observations for Richardson, we've mostly used two quarterbacks as comparison: Josh Allen (for his early inaccuracy, strong arm, and ability to run) and Cam Newton (for his imposing physicality and strong arm). There's one other quarterback that I feel needs to be in the conversation: Justin Fields Through his career in Chicago, he was a phenomenon running the ball. He ran for over 1100 yards in 2022! But he had a lot less success throwing the ball. So much so that the team finally decided to move on from him after only 3 seasons. I'm not saying "Richardson is exactly like Fields". But I am saying that the comparison has merit, and bears watching. -
I implore you to go back and watch the tape from his first 2 seasons. His accuracy was woeful.
