It’s almost like there are injuries all over the league.

It probably won't matter because Josh Downs seems to be the #1 receiver. He gets more snaps than Pittman.

I would guess if Downs is getting more snaps than Pittman it’s because MP is hurt and playing less, not because Downs is more preferred.   And I say that as someone who is a big Downs fan.

It was inevitable. Theres no way he goes from almost being put on IR to being healthy. He’s been playing hurt.

Agree.  And when you are playing hurt you can’t help but being less effective and the defense can take advantage.  Having a healthy player out there in his place changes that and gives the team a better chance at more completions.

It’s for the best. He’s been suffering long enough. Needs to take time off and heal. Back injuries suck and are so hard to recover from, especially in a contact sport.

Gould is having a hard time earning snaps.  The 🌎 of a rookie.

He has more moves the Dulin and is in doghouse because of s.t. Kid can fly maybe we see it tomorrow.

This is nothing against Pittman. I am not like some trolls that call him trash, he is a good WR but I think we should trade him for some draft picks. He is damaged goods is why. Once you get a back injury you are never the same. Many teams would still take a gamble on him because of his talent. I think we could get a 2 and a 6 for him IMO. We still would have Downs, Pierce, and Mitch. The 2 would be worth it. Sometimes a 6th round pick can be a gem as well.

I am really happy to see this too.  He had a great preseason.  He could make an impact tomorrow.  Let’s hope so.

I think so too. Has the ability to be a playmaker.

Although Treadwell has not had much success in the pros, and hardly lived up to his billing as 23rd overall pick... He had fantastic career at Mississippi. Especially considering, he forego his final year for NFL draft. He is only 29 years old.

from Wikipedia:

...He finished his career as the all-time leading pass catcher in Ole Miss history with 202 career receptions (seventh-most in Southeastern Conference (SEC) history) and ranks third in receiving yards with 2,393 and touchdowns with 21, as well as tied for second with nine career 100-yard receiving games. Treadwell managed at least one catch in all 35 games in which he played for the Rebels.

Let’s face it Pittman needs rest. His back is bothering him and you can tell. Should be interesting to see if Pierce can break out but this could be a bad one tomorrow.

Just a tough season for him. Injury combined with AR not really ever getting in sync with him.

Heal up and hopefully the QB situation settles itself out for when he gets back.

If I were Pittman, I would be wanting out. He needs a stable quarterback room, and he has never had it here.

He is certainly not trash.  Just overpaid.  Entirely avoidable, and I think this sums up Ballard nicely.  Ballard has a vision for what he wants it to look like, but his eye for the pieces can be quite questionable.  And unfortunately he has not been able to get the QB piece right, which might well cost him his job.

Nobody is going to trade for Pittman by the way.  Not without the Colts eating cap or trade value due to the disparity in his cap hits vs what he gives you on the field.  So he isn't going anywhere.  And for the record I like him well enough, just not what they paid him.

We’re past the trade deadline too. So it will have to wait till the off season even if considered for some reason.

AD, not sure if he’ll be on the same page with Flacco as Pittman. Pittman being out will hurt more than we think. I just hope not too badly.

Well hell.  Been a long week and I've been deep into several handles of Jack.  Celebrating.
