It will be disrespectful if they start Flacco next week. If this was Ballard decision he should be fired tomorrow. If it was Steichen he should be gone tomorrow.

it’s very clearly Irsay’s… and is the decision to ban signs. You think anyone else in the organization wants to censor signs at colts games? lol…

I’m not defending him. I think he’s going to be fired and the house is going to be cleaned. And it should.  I’m simply arguing with your posting of records without context… as if Grigson was a better GM, when anyone with a brain knows that he was, and that Jim Irsay’s organization has been a clown show for a long time. It’s not going to change. There will be dysfunction with the next gm.

please go and find the part where I said he's better. i think you are assuming that because grigson has the better record.

no, he accomplished more yet was fired. that's the main point.

i wanted grigson fired too. it's just something to look at and think about, I don't necessarily have a narrative other than GMs accomplishing more than ballard and being fired long before he would be

Sad to see Indy selling all their tickets to the Bills fans.  Not a good look compared to the other franchises.  I would hate to see them move again.  I will follow the shoe to whatever city they play in.  I hope Indy doesn’t take them for granted.

Winning is the best elixir. Get rid of Ballard when every other team in the division has won the division TWICE while he’s been GM.

Get rid of Steichen who’s in over his head for play calling and adapting to a QB like AR. Keep only AR and see what a different GM and HC can do while giving them the freedom to draft another one in 2026

grigs also drafted hilton, and AC. he signed gore, drafted kelly.

if we go * for tat, luck wasn't the only great pick from grigs.

AC was here from the year before he became our GM if I'm not mistaken. Vontae was one of Grigson's best moves IMO.

With that said... Grigson was a godawful GM. That record is about 99% Luck.

yeah the 9ers could be content they had steve young and Montana.

Its such a weird logic to hold as a fan .....    we havent won the division in almost a decade and havent made the playoffs in going on 5 years .    we are sub .500 in the last 9 years .    We can do better than ballard who is a cheap bill polian knockoff .

yeah? why are you trying to make into something else? we can remove grigson from the conversation and find GM's fired within the last 3-5 years who accomplished more than ballard. the ten GM being a perfect example.

Jon Robinson

you want it to be that I like grigson but that's not the case. he accomplished more. it doesn't really matter that he had a franchise QB. Ballard has had twice as long without securing one.

Grigson was awful. I say that our draft picks have been bad because Grigson works in the player personnel department of the Vikings. Our draft picks since he has been here have not been good. Most of our top drafted players were drafted by the previous regime (Jefferson, Darrisaw, Brian O'Neill, Camryn Bynum, Harrison Smith, Josh Metellus, more).

Man Bill's are not that good and I thought for sure we could beat them at home.

I was so far off and should have seen it when Jaguars beat us. lmao

so because the nfl has had tons of bad GMs we should never fire ballard ?   I am just trying to follow your logic ....  should we reward ballard with a life time contract for being below 500 this year?  how many more years should ballard get ?   he hand picked shane and AR  both are not good

I don't think Ballard is a good GM, but that is not sufficient reason to fire him. I'm not sure that the Colt's have a sufficient rubric for determining what a good GM for the Colts would look like. They'd probably just hire someone like Ballard or Grigson with a different name. The Colts seem to hire people based on subjective criteria. I've found that is a recipe for disaster, but the Colts have never asked my opinion, nor would I feel compelled to give it to them.

Colts were 4-4 with AR LOL

I'm not going to say AR is not the guy cause his rawness is so far away.

But damn you drafted a raw talent and don't give him the rep's.

The guy is more athletic than Flacco any day of the week. Even a young Flacco. Lol

But Richardson needs to decide is he committed to being a NFL QB or call himself out cause he's tired???

I'm not putting AR down by any means. But I have never seen a NFL player or QB call himself out from being tired. Hurt absolutely!!

Let AR finish the season out, that way we know if we wasted a pick on him. JMO

Trade the house for Milroe if we did waste on Richardson. Don't act like you all have not seen Milroe passing and running... Haha

Go Colts!!!

Ballard is risk-averse to the point where he is never fully exposed. The ironic thing is by sitting on the #4 pick last year and drafting his QB he is fully exposed for being cautious.

Other teams committed to their rookie QB’s keep playing them through their mistakes. There are 3 reasons  to turn to a 40 yr old backup on game 9 - you have a team on the cusp of going deep into the playoffs or you have already completely given up on your draft pick. - or you you are masking the problem and trying to save your job. The third option sounds right.
