I’m not saying Maye isn’t a promising player but it’s so annoying every time we play a QB or player and they have season/ career high games against this defense. My timeline has been littered with Maye hype and the Colts bad defense has helped with that. Gave him a season high in rushing.
Not saying management should be totally off the hook here, but I remeber the conversation here in the offseason, and the talk was not like this. It was positive in fact. People were actually excited about this group.
Woods full year injury was again, not something they could have predicted. Cause he is the guy, he can block, run, size, he has all the talent, he would have been the featured guy. But it got all thrown out the window with injuries.
Granson & Ogletree have just flat out regressed. Ogletree was a great suprise last year, his off season troubles seemed to have killed his vibe. Granson was a Reich guy. They used him for a specific role in Reichs scheme, not sure why he's still here.
MAC is MAC, just fine.
Mallory is the guy that really needs to be seeing ALL of the snaps from Ogletree & Granson moving forward. Actually has a track record of producing in college as a reciever, looks good whenever he gets run, they just use him sparingly for some reason.
But man, getting Warren in the draft would be amazing. Then if Woods comes back healthy, you could run some power offense with 2 TE sets, who can both block and catch.
