Sounds like a classic case of building and upgrading a lot of facilities but not using resources to fill those places with qualified personnel… Happens to local schools all the time. Massive new additions, auditoriums, gymnasiums, stadiums… and then turning around and cutting jobs because of budgets… -

FWIW: if memory serves, when he was hired in Jan of 2017, Ballard got Irsay to commit to spend well in excess of $50 mill. Maybe close to $100m. I think it added a new floor to the facility and included an upgraded weight room, locker room and dining area. I think they added the indoor facility and even added another football field. All of this was done a long time ago. And so to see that 8 years later the Colts still rank low in these areas is disappointing. It may speak to an almost never ending race to constantly upgrading facilities. If I’m wrong — and I might be — I’m sure there are many here who will be happy to correct me. Have at it. -

Yeah. Unfortunately this team isn’t it. Just not enough talent. Last year is looking like a bit of a fluke surprise run. -

Hard to evaluate them without seeing what’s happening in practice. At the moment we’re only seeing I’d say about 60%.
