I don’t think Ballard would do it, but I have thought about it myself. It’s not even worth entertaining because it would only happen if we blew it up this offseason. Ballard and Steichen would both have to be gone, which I don’t see both of them going.

Not sure but it’s definitely been on my mind that if AR doesn’t improve in the next few weeks I might need to start doing mock drafts with a QB in the first round haha.

I think Cam Ward is closer to what Steichen needs for his offense than Richardson for sure.

Cam Ward been solid all season except his most recent outing against Florida State. 
 

Jaxson Dart already familiar with RPO and play action.

 

Drew Allar also a top choice with 6’5” height, quick release speed.

Looking at teams needing QBs and drafteks trade chart and positions,

CAR

TEN

NE

LV

NYG

JAX

CLE

 

Going to be an interesting race to finish off the season see who gets the first pick.  We may have to trade within our conference with TEN or JAX to move up if that is the plan for a QB.

NE just took a QB in Maye you can scratch them off the list.  Also Jax and cle are stuck with their QBs because of their big contracts.  Jax might be able to get out of Lawerence’s deal or find someone to trade him too but Cleveland is stuck with Watson for better or worse.

We might have already won more than we can afford to win. We probably would need to trade up...

The large contracts of Lawrence and Watson may not stop Jax or Cleveland for drafting a rookie QB on a rookie contract.

I don't think the Colts players are ready to pack it in. They owe it to the fans and Irsay to play their best. Continue earning their contracts.  

Like I said in a different thread the Colts have some dogs that still have some bite left in them.

Agreed. And the colts coaching staff just made a shocking QB change with the express goal of winning more games. I think they will be trying to win games. Now - will they be able to is a different conversation. Or schedule is getting kind of tough in the next few games. I wouldn't be surprised if we lost all 4 of the next games. What do they do then? Do they bring AR back in? No idea...

Personally I wouldn't bring back AR this season baring an injury to Flacco.  AR needs to mature a while longer.  He really needs extensive  work on his mechanics.
