Dayo, Dulin, Rigoberto, Fries, Pinter

Free Agency

Chazz Surratt LB RAS 8.47

Jarrett Stidham QB

Talanoa hufanga SAF RAS 7

Tommy Tremble TE RAS 8.9

Paulson Adebo CB RAS 9.74

1st Emery Jones Jr RT/RG LSU 6'6 315lbs

CB loves to build the trenches. Jones would help the interior line his first year and potentially battle it out with Matt Goncalves for RT when Smith contract is up.

X-factor: Over 30 games experience on the right side in the SEC (also blocked for Jayden Daniels)

Comp: Dion Dawkins/ La'el Collins

2nd Ollie Gordon II RB Oklahoma St. 6'1 225lbs

Not quite on the level of Robinson or Gibbs who went 1st round a few years ago. Gordon should be a 2nd round steal with his talent at RB. His style of running and ability to catch out of the backfield should be complimentary to JT.

X-factor: Used to running out of shotgun formation

Comp: Demarco Murray/Chuba Hubbard

3rd Xavier Nwankpa S Iowa 6'2 215lbs

Xavier is a high ceiling prospect. He is dripping with potential and athleticism. We will need to be patience but he should be able to see the field his year even if it's just on special teams.

X-factor : Age

Comp: Grant Delpit/ Terrel Edmunds

4th Demonte Capehart DT Clemson 6'5 315lbs

Capehart is a large man and should fit nicely with Defo and Grover. As of right now he's more of a run stopper than pass rusher.

X-factor: Size

Comp: DJ Davidson/Ta'quan Graham

5th Dillon Gabriel QB Oregon 5'11 200lbs

Dillon Gabriel has a ton of experience especially in RPO offenses.

X-factor: Lefty

Comp: Chase Daniels/Tyler Heinicki

6th Kendal Daniels S/LB 6'4 235lbs

Potential EJ Speeds replacement. Daniels would change from Safety to LB. As of right now he's a ankle tackler but with a NFL nutritionist he should bulk up giving him more weight behind his thump.

X-factor: Height

Comp:Troy Dye/Jayron Kearse

7th Zy Alexander CB 6'2 194lbs

ACL injury junior year, and has been banged up his senior year

What you think.....

First, Fries getting an extension is 50/50 to me. He broke his right Tibia and needed surgery. Those type of injuries take awhile to come back from and even when he comes back he may never be the same. It’s the same injury Hutchinson got. It can take up to 52 weeks. I don’t think he gets the big extension he was likely to get, but they keep him until he’s 100%.

As for the mock I wouldn’t wait that long to address the secondary. You need a 1st or 2nd round pick at corner.  Corner is more important than safety IMO.

Really taking a chance on JuJu coming back and Paulson Adebo bouncing back

Thanks for posting

These are always interesting to read

I like rounds, 3,4, and 5 picks

Respectfully,

If we go OL with round 1 pick and RB with pick 2 I will be a bit disappointed

This offense has more than enough talent to win in the NFL.

We need a QB that can complete 65% of his passes

A much bigger need IMHO

This team needs defensive stars in a major way

We need a blue chip level DT (Round 1 is a great round to get one)

We need a LB (Round 2 is a great round to get one)

We need a CB in a major way (Round 3 would be a great round to get 1)

Thanks for sharing

Appreciate the read, I guess I just don't want to spend that 1st on a guy rotating with Defo and Grover especially since both re-up on a contract.

RB can be found throughout the draft so no arguments there just wanted a special guy that could work with AR in the pistol/shotgun formation since JT isn't playing through injuries.

I completely missed where you got Paulson Adebo in FA. I guess in that scenario waiting on a corner would be fine. I’m just off on JuJu. He keeps getting hurt.
