  1. 1. Anthony Richardson is expected to play against the Dolphins. Keeping in mind that he is returning from injury, how many total yards passing and running do you expect from him?

    • Less than 175
    • Between 175 and 250
    • over 250
  2. 2. Which statement best describes what you believe?

    • Colts need to play the players that give them the best chance to win now.
    • The Colts should play their young players (Anthony Richardson, Alex Pierce, Latu, Mitchell, etc.) even if it is means losing games, as these players need to play to develop. (This is a year to develop players.)
  3. 3. Who wins?

    • Colts
    • Dolphins
    • The game will end in a tie.

Your Indianapolis Colts welcome the Miami Dolphins to Lucas Oil Stadium today. The Colts are looking to get their record over .500, which may help to quiet the critics.

Anthony Richardson is expected to start over a healthy Joe Flacco. That is likely to upset many diehard Flacco fans.

Injury Reports:

Colts:

Questionable for the Colts are:

Pierce, Downs, Pittman, Smith

Doubtful: E. J. Speed

**OUT: Jonathan Taylor and Chris Lammons

DOLPHINS

QUESTIONABLE

Odell Beckham Jr.

Blake Ferguson

Austin Jackson

David Long

Emmanuel Ogbah

Cam Smith

Skylar Thompson
**DOUBTFUL — Jevon Holland**

thanks again for opening up the thread NFLfan. I voted between 175 and 250 yards, we need to play the young kids, and Colts win.

I’m hoping AR can build off his last partial game and stay focused on delivering downfield to stretch the D.  That may help open up the fun game as SS seems loathe to put AR under center and utilize PA.

Question: will we see Hull today (pretty please)?

Go COLTS!  All day.  Every day.  :coltshelmet: :coltsfb:

@NFLfan, i voted between 175-250, Colts need to play their players because today is a must win, Colts win. Thanks for the thread.

I voted the same way - we're currently 2nd in the AFC South and could be tied with Houston soon for 1st and I think a potential playoff run cannot be wasted just for the sake of developing our younger players.

I’m more interested in seeing if AR can develop into our franchise QB.  Wins are nice to have along the way, though.

So you want to play Flacco? I read AR was playing. Is that right?

I'm at the Giants game. I'm missing my Vikings game. :(

AR and the young'uns - experience for our young players to win more in the future.

Colts - I think the Colts are better when the Dolphins don't have Tua out there.

I’ve got a feeling we’re gonna see Huntley run a lot more today than he has in his other starts this season. They’d be silly not to the way we let Fields run.

this is gonna be a good test for our corners. if they can hold their own here, that's a very encouraging sign. I know the dolphins haven't been good on offense, but that doesn't typically seem to matter vs our defense. If we hold them in check, that's a win.

    • My eye test tells me that JT has been going more laterally being patient for lanes and even going outside the tackles, even when not designed, the last few games. It is possible that he sees the lane the play is designed for is being closed and unlike prior times when he would run into a wall, he might be freelancing a bit more to the team's advantage?? If PFF considers that a negative, I can definitely see that going on.
    • It's interesting then that AR has been more accurate when the first read of plays have been on shallow routes/screens/mesh then isn't it? This is a go-to falsehood from you.   And of course there is such a thing as a play caller calling deep plays. That's that biggest load of nonsense I've ever heard. There may be check downs on more shallow routes, but there are definitely first-read deep calls.   He wasn't sacked once against the Lions or the Patriots? What exactly are you babbling about here? He IS less effected by the dirty pocket and pressure than Flacco. Flacco would have been KILLED against the Lions. You are being disingenuous.   AR's run style isn't elusive like a Jackson. He runs like Josh Allen, because he's a bigger dude. He can't physically be something he's not. Stop making up arguments just to % on AR.   That's not the only thing Steichen changed at all. If this is your geniune opinion then I have to call into question whether you actually watch Colts games.     AR is good on deep throws, but go look up last seasons stats. AR's average depth of target was (ADOT) 8.0 and his comp% was 59.5%. This season his ADOT is 13.3 and his comp% is 47.4%. Shorter throws, higher accuracy - ho would have thought...   He's good at deep throws, but he's not like 70% accurate. Don't be dense.   You are grasping at things and being disingenuous just to % on AR. It's ridiculous.
    • PFF Grades vs, Patriots OFFENSE QB - Richardson 79.3 OL - Pinter - 82.9, Raimann -81.5, Nelson - 79.6, Glowinski - 67.8, Goncalves - 61.4. WR - Pierce - 64.6, Pittman - 63.9, Treadwell 54.2,  Mitchell - 44.3 TE - Ogletree - 84.5, Mallory - 75.8, Cox - 66.2, Granson - 48.8 RB - Taylor - 60.1, Goodson - 60.0, Sermon - 57.5. DEFENSE DL - Lewis - 92.3, Buckner - 82.2, Odeyingbo - 67.2, Latu - 65.9, Bryan - 55.1, Davis - 53.5, Paye - 50.4,   Stewart - 46.5 CB / S - Moore - 76.1, Blackmon - 72,2, Cross - 67.9, Thomas - 61.5, Harrison - 60.0, Womack - 59.6, Jones - 59.1, LB - Stuard - 70.6, Franklin - 61.5, Speed - 52.7,
    • Even with the 96 yards and TD, he still wasn't graded well... per PFF, the OL has been blocking better than the RBs production has suggested...
    • Did you hear what James Franklin of Penn State said about throwing a TD in the last minute versus Maryland? You should go watch.   If you have second and third or even fourth team players in for a game, you want them to play real football. If the other team waved the white flag by running it a whole series and punting it, I can understand your team not throwing it. But if the other trailing team kept throwing and isn't giving up, why should the team with the lead give up with its second and third team guys in it?   Too much importance given to STYLE POINTS in college playoffs, for tie breakers, is a BIG reason for this too.
