Moore and Paye ruled out against Steelers

I assume that means either Womack or Lammons will slide inside to replace Kenny. Latu will get the start in replace of Keith. Lammons is listed as questionable tho so it will be interesting to see how this plays out if he can’t go does Womack slide inside and Flowers plays outside? Or does Womack play outside and Flowers slide inside? Either way the Nickel back will need to be SOLID because Calvin Austin is no joke.

How much more concerned about Kenny Moore being out. I think a Lalu can step in for Paye with more snaps but Moore is a different story

Lati isn’t the run stopper Paye is yet. Ballard did a ok job getting depth at nickle. I am much less worried at nickle with Kenny being out then if an outside corner is out. Hopefully I am proved right. Lewis possibly not playing is a big concern with depth already tested.

Thank God we picked up that 5th year on Paye. I mean he earned it, right? I mean based on his previous play and injuries?

52 tackles, 8.5 sacks.

That's what a 1 year, 13 million contract buys you at today's market value, not a Myles Garrett (which is more like 25-35 million).

Costs aren't what they are in 2014 or even 2020.

I know but Brents isn’t much of a miss he hardly plays regularly.  The other three are key players but against Fields and their offense I think we will be fine.

I'm not underestimating their offense. They gave the chargers hell last week

We were at the game and that hit sounded very bad, Looked like a hip injury.

It was a hip. He walked off with a limp. Hopefully this is the only game he misses.

Steelers have only scored 3 TD in 2 games. Colts have scored 4 in one and 3 in another.

In 3 games

Against much better defensives then us and that's before all the injuries. I'm just saying don't underestimate this offense

Steelers have not been tested with offenses. They played cousins game one which was his first game back. They played a rookie WB. Then played a hobbled Herbert. I am not saying their defense is not great. But they haven’t really been tested. They are basically dinking and dunking and settling for field goals. Not saying that won’t change but they still need to prove it.

Don't look at the sacks. His pressure rate was horrible. Those 8.5 were not at key moments. He is not a good DE and he didn't deserve the 5th year option. So far, he is what he is and that's based on history. For some reason, Ballard expected him to take that next step. No where on tape has it shown that he is a legit rush end.
