Plus almost 3M population versus under 1M for Indy so it is what it is.

Yup, we will have to suffer Bears fans in our state for the rest of time, they aren’t going anywhere

No I'm not and it's quite possible he's not ever going to be. But AR WILL get better with experience - just like Manning did. AR brings different things than Manning.

Good lord. Even discussing this stiff in relation to PM is ridiculous. Start with comparing him to Jeff George when he was a Colt. AR might be roughly comparable to George someday. Both could throw the ball through a wall and neither had a clue about playing the position.

Gus Bradley needs to go. Everyone is talking about AR, the real issue right now is our DC.

Yea he does, however this game shows it's also a talent issue. Gus is being aggressive and selling out to stop the run. I have always felt that Gus was extra conservative in his play calling because he had no faith in the lbs, corners and safeties ability to cover.

AR is already poised to be more successful than Jeff George because Jeff George was an arrogant jerk. AR is humble and polite, that serves you much better as a young QB. Just ask Ryan Leaf.

They fed Darnold to the wolves and then blamed it all on him when he failed. The Jets are a garbage franchise that doesn’t do right by their fans

Their offensive line was terrible! They seemed to put a lot of their resources on their defense, IIRC.

Has the third quarter started?

Nope, about 1:30 left in the 2nd. We just stopped the Bears on 4th and goal!

Cuz he got hurt and only played a portion of those 4 games his rookie year. Not helping your case as Manning didn’t miss any significant time his first season.

You're still judging him off 3 games and forgetting AR's receivers have been mostly * outside of Pierce. Manning had a HOF'er in Harrison.

Damn. If Shane would have called that.

fans would burn down the stadium

It was * stupid when he called it, and it was * stupid when they called it.

The #1 pick don't look like a world beater either..lol

Shocker, it’s almost like most young QBs need time to develop. Not all #1 picks come out on fire like Luck or Burrow.

Why are NFL coaches suddenly calling stupid plays like this in situations like that?

Hun Omg GIF by Women's History

A speed option won’t work if you don’t put extra blockers on the edge lol. What a dumb play

Not sure why the run but ok

We get the ball first in the 3rd, best not to give the Bears the ball back with the chance to put up some points before the half.
