Belichick admits to "bending the rules"

I've been convinced for years that in the playoffs in 2003 and 2004, they knew our plays and what we would be running. I mean, it's just my opinion. How'd they do that? I'm not sure, but I heard that Manning and the team were very secretive in the locker room after that. As far as we know, they had recorders in the Colt's locker room at Gillett Stadium, and I wouldn't hold it past them. They've been caught cheating many times. But we will perhaps never know for sure.

Maybe it was Conner Stallions!??? Maybe him and Tom Brady always working together being both Michigan turds!?

Is it too late for them to still vacate wins/SBs? 🤔

Sucks because our 2003 and 2004 teams were loaded. 2005 was our fault because we were better than Pittsburgh but 03 and 04 will always be a what if.

2007 to. We had number 1 defense  and got upset by chargers

sproles destroyed that defense. Never did play well against them and it’s a good thing the patriots beat them in 06

During the heart of "Spygate" - the Chargers were 14-2 and the AFC's #1 seed that year and the Patriots came to Qualcomm stadium and won by 3, then ran to midfield and danced on the logo.

Also done forget Scifres having the punters equivalent of a perfect game.

Hilarious the amount of pure jealousy in this thread.

Guess what?  What Vrabel didn’t wasn’t illegal at the time.

And the “recording in the locker room” nonsense is just that, pure nonsense and jealousy that the defenses were so well prepared.

The corruption of the pats and league cost the colts of at least 2 additional super bowls.

Friggin’ hilarious.  Manning was a habitual choker with the Colts.  The only time he ever won a SB was with a strong running game.

oh, and let’s not forget that he faced perhaps the weakest SB opponent of all time in Rex Grossman’s Bears.

Beat the Pats before that, so doesn't matter.

What you said is true BUT STILL the colts would have been to a couple more super bowls if the games were legit.

And speaking of the super bowl with the bears, we didn't get tickets for the game but did go to the NFL Experience and still have one the SB throws....the only memorabilia I have left. Its 17 years old. Time sure flies by.

When two thirds of the Patriots roster had the flu.

Congrats.

6 > 1.

Lol whatever nonsense excuse makes you feel better. But the Colts beat the Patriots, and Ravens too, to get to the Super Bowl.

Also, let's not act like the Bears didn't earn their way to the Super Bowl; they were dominant that year.

And let's not also act like the Patriots didn't lose to the freaking Giants TWICE! Record wise the Bears were definitely better than the Giants both years the Ptas lost to them.
