Watson accused of sexual assault… again.

now I don’t pretend to know if this is legit or a byproduct of the other law suits but there seems to be a reoccurring theme here. You would have thought he’d learned his lesson and not put himself into such positions but obviously not.

if he did this, it’s high time the league suspends him for life. Rape/sexual assault/ physical violence by any player IF evidence confirms it should be an immediate life ban. Then maybe these guys would actually be deterred

It seems related to things that happened before he got to the Browns. The Texans are laughing their head off at the Browns while Baker Mayfield is tossing TDs for less with the Bucs. Baker was someone who was committed to them and was a good citizen.

Yeah they did Baker wrong.

That's exactly why they got rid of him. You can't have him represent the Browns and ruin their streak of awful QBs. That streak is magnificent!

One article mentioned that if the NFL suspends Watson again that the Browns could be on the path for voiding his salary guarantees. I don't know how that would work, but maybe the Browns can find a way out of the mess they're in due to his allegations.

Baker Mayfield might be laughing at them right now. He seems to be good person, so maybe he has too much class to do that and just watches the team implode.

Interesting. Too bad they didn’t work some conditions into the trade deal to get their picks back

The Browns are incredibly stupid. Watson’s own camp didn’t want to go to Cleveland. He was on his way to Carolina when Haslan and company made the call and offered him that ridiculous amount of money…

Indeed, Houston and Tampa are laughing their rear ends off right now.

I’m honestly so happy to see Baker doing well and thriving. Shame on Cleveland.

Makes you wonder if the Browns somehow are behind this new investigation on an older issue?

    • Putting the injuries aside.   It didn't take nor does it ever take anyone with a common sense of football and good football play to understand that when your team has been a consistent middle of the road mediocre team or worse with the same aspect in their overall player quality and then the GM re-signs or gives extensions to those middle of the road mediocre players that produced those middle of the road results, what did everyone really expect to happen here? That they would magically get better?    It's one thing to want to retain your guys and if your guys are good or great then I totally agree. We all should. But when your guys are just a bunch of jags then you need better guys, not give jag guys contracts that some would argue are deemed for better players.   There are many on this forum that were happy when we signed all these jags and brought them back. Some of us were not.   Who is looking like the smart ones now?   Could it be the ones who always get chastised for being critical?
    • Im not sure what to make of the Seahawks, I think they can be a really good team but they’re constantly shooting themselves in the foot. Geno has been seeing ghosts tonight and I’m not sure when he started that bad habit.
    • 😀 Thanks!  First time for us at Nissan Stadium so we shall see.  I am actually hoping to see Treadwell elevated and playing.  He went to HS about 35 minutes from us and graduated a year before my son so we followed his career closely.
    • Not surprised.  That’s Rodgers team lol
    • I was down on Sermon last year because he tried to run before the catch a couple times last year, and dropped easy catches. This year he's caught everything so far, and fights for yards. He ain't JT, but he's as good as anybody else we can trot out there so far.
