Bryant looks miserable with that team. I'm sure the losing is miserable but don't feel bad for him, he is in a better part of the country with lots of money.

LJpalmbeacher2
Yankees took a loss the other night. I had a feeling we wouldn't go UNDEFEATED this season.... Its better our streak ended in April to avoid the pressure of staying undefeated during the season. Lol Actually, several Yankee bats are cold. Judge started cold but did get a HR and a double in last game. Stanton, Rizzo, Torres, Verdugo all not in a groove yet. Soto, Volape, and Oswaldo Cabrera carried the Yankees the first week along with the help of Astros errors and shaky bullpen. Can't expect Cabrera to do it most of season so some cold Yankee bats need to heat up. I think Volape will build on his rookie campaign and be a solid player in '24. I liked what I seen from SP Gil......consistently upper 90's and touched 100 mph once.

It comes down to their pitching and health of your big bats.
2006Coltsbestever
I apologize for not getting my yearly picks in before the season started. I sort of got sidetracked/hurt is a better of way putting it. So, I took 10 days off from here which was much needed. I almost didn't even come back but wasn't going to let 3 or 4 rotten eggs ruin it for me. My advice to people in here, be friendly with everyone in here, watch what you say to certain people, and only like people that respect your opinion. Speak your mind and if someone doesn't like it, that is their problem =. My Picks: AL East winner = Yankees (100 wins) AL West winner = Rangers (90 wins) AL Central winner = Twins (90 wins) NL East winner = Braves (102 wins) NL West winner = Dodgers (102 wins) NL Central winner = Cubs (93 wins) Cubs win the NL Pennant Yankees win the AL Pennant My World Series = Cubs over Yankees 4-3 in 7. I have the Cubs winning 93 games by the way this year. We are loaded and ready.

2006Coltsbestever
Ohtani just homered. The guy that gambled 4.5 million away, but it gets covered up and some poor guy gets blamed for it because everyone loves him, and he plays for LA. Here comes LA with their loaded lineup.
2006Coltsbestever
Anymore the Professor should be mid relief, he is great for 3 innings but can't pitch more than 4 Innings. This has been the case for 2 years now. Cubs still lead 6-5 to the bottom of the 5th but the Cubs should be up by 2 or 3 runs. You let LA hang around and they will burn you with that all-star lineup. 2006Coltsbestever
Cubs now up 9-5. Cubs are saying we are here to compete with the big boys, and this is our home turf. Here is Bellinger, time for a Belly Bomb perhaps . Nope but 9-5 to the 6th.

2006Coltsbestever
5-0 now, yeah taking 2 of 3 from the Dodgers is excellent. The schedule makers put us against them and to start at Texas = cute.
