I guess I am looking at it from a Colts fan perspective where they have drafted Sorgi, Painter, Eason, and Sam outside of round one and at best they have developed into backups, which is fine that’s what they were supposed to be.

Look at the Lions. They have Goff and drafted the guy from Tennessee (can't recall his name) in the 3rd round, I believe.

I'm like a proud dad on the sidelines... "That's my boy" :D

Although... I'd like to point out that for me the process is more important than the result, because in a lot of cases with projecting QBs especially, the result is based on tons of factors including a big dose of luck. But yeah. my biggest point ever since Luck retired was - go get a young talented QB from the draft and develop... Good to see Love shining especially after all the doubts and slander people were heaping on him for years without him even having the opportunity to actually play and show what he can do.

And you liked AR too. I think he will be successful as well.

Dallas had over 500 yards of offense.  Cowboys won TOP, 3rd down %, penalties,  Thry rushed for over 120 years and Dak had over 400 yards passing and 3 TD’s and they still lost by 16 AND the game wasn’t close…..ouch

Keyshawn Johnson used to say on this espn morning radio show, but he’s absolutely right.  Winning football consists of 3 things:

- QB throws around 25 times, has 0 turnovers, and 2 TDs (run, throw, whatever combo)

- running back gets 25-30 carries and a score

- defense plays well

And tbh, majority of the teams with that stat line are usually the winners.  Dak threw 2 picks , threw 60 times, and they lost by 2 possessions.

Winning a game consists of only one important thing. More points than your opponent haha

herndon HOOKER who was injured

I wanted the Vikes to draft him despite having been hurt in college. I wanted us to draft a QB. We did. He did not show much.

Only Brady seemed to win when throwing 50+ times in many games.

A big reason why Dallas lost today was they lost the Turnover battle. Teams that win the Turnover battle in all Regular Season games/playoffs included win 80% of the time since 1990. Dallas had 2 Turnovers that resulted in 14 points which makes it even worse, that erases away a lot of good stats. Another reason why stats aren't everything.

    • Fries has proven to be a diamond find.  Figure our salary cap will determine how our OL future pans out. Starting WRs are some of the best in the league.  Can AR connect with them like Menshew done?    TE room wouldn’t mind adding Fannin but team needs devalue him as BPA.  Conyers is great in run blocking and can catch hoping falls to R4-6 range.    DL help is a major area of need agreed.  Think I had a Day 3 initial grade on NT Rene Konga but each week he has impressed.  Between Konga and Michigan’s Benny probably our two best choices for Stewart’s role.  See my recent Week 4 top 10-15 players posted especially for LB and DB options.
    • I would personally like to see more bootlegs, and more throws on the run. AR is SO good at that.   Especially since they love playing out of shotgun so much.
    • Army is playing mistake free football, very impressive so far. One of a handful of unbeaten Group of 5 schools.
