Shane loves using an RPO with a split-zone scheme. Bottom line am not impressed with any of the 2025 draft class tight ends and proven RBLK skillset. Hoping the Colts pull off a Vikings-Lions type trade for Ravens Mark Andrews assuming can remain healthy and play for 5-7 more years like Kelce. Coming from another high profile RPO team would help the Colts now. Keep the trade like Hockenson deal offer our R2P and 2026 R3P in return get R4P from the Ravens plus their R4 comp pick. The Ravens would actually gain cap space by moving Andrews this offseason and still have another solid TE with Isaiah Likely. R1P LCB/FS/NCB Jahdae Barron – reminds me of Lions’ Brian Branch started as NCB moved to SS R3P RG Luke Kandra - Cincinnati uses a split-zone scheme much like the Colts have used under Shane in 2023-2024. I liked Kandra pre-season. He had his up and downs this season. 2023 did not record a penalty and only gave up 2 sacks. While at Louisville, Kandra was a standout guard over the last two seasons and could have been a Day 2 draft pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. This past year at Cincinnati he earned an overall 81.9 grade (3rd) and 81.3 run-blocking grade that led all returning Power Five guards. He placed in the 98th percentile this past season in PFF GAS metric and done well in 2022. Think he would go well if we can resign Fries on a prove it deal and would be an upgrade over Dalton Tucker this late in the season.

There’s a lot of nuggets of wisdom in this one. Both in the football realm and in life in general.
