Icing on the cake for arguably Ballard’s best draft since to date. If Jones maintains his current pace he will set a record for lowest completion percentage by a rookie. 2022 7th round yielded Rodney Thomas as well.

 Jones gave up several big plays last game. He has a high FB IQ, but he has benefitted from our good pass rush. Cincinnati should be interesting for him.

 He has a pff grade of 59, giving up 97 passer rating. 

 A bigger sample size needed.

He gave up a TD to Hopkins where the other DB passed the route off to him and he failed to pick it up in time. Outside of that I don’t remember him giving up many big plays. Against the Bucs he also gave up a TD to Evans. But a 7th round rookie corner giving up TDs to Evans and Hopkins isn’t too concerning IMO.

I'm not trying to make a big deal out of the Evans TD, but he didn't just get beat by a better receiver. He apparently blew his coverage altogether. It happens with rookies, but I think it's a relevant detail.
