Here’s a look at the final injury report for the Ravens in Week 3:

None of them are great players. Clowney and Beckham both are not great players anymore. They still had Lamar and Andrews + Tucker. We did not have AR or Taylor. They were at home. That is not excuse for them losing, sorry. I think I am just tired of people making excuses for other teams when we beat them. I can make an excuse every game when we lose and say we didn't have our starting QB if I wanted to play that game.

Vegas had them as a 7 point favorite so apparently those injuries you listed didn't even affect the line.

I don't get why some people on here just can't admit it was a wild game and the Ravens had multiple chances to win it but didn't deliver.

I don't get it either. There is always a select few when we beat teams that we shouldn't, they find excuses for the other team to why they lost. We simply outplayed them, and our FG made the key kick and theirs missed. Now if Lamar was out and we beat them, I would get that.

Almost every fan base is like ours. One week they play good and brag about their team, then they play bad the next week, they panic and think the season is over. I have just accepted the fact that we are going to look good some weeks and some weeks we won't. That is the way the NFL is now. KC just won the SB and are 9-6, they are only 1 game better than us and have arguably a top 5 QB of all-time and a top 10 coach of all-time.

Humphrey, Stanley, Marcus Williams would be the best players at their position on this team. 2 of those players are all pro caliber. Linderstorm is a pretty good center too

Stanley and Humphrey both haven't been All-Pro since 2019. You are listing players that were once great that aren't now. They are good. We were missing our starting QB and arguably the best RB in the league. We can go back and forth on this. I can say we lost to the Falcons because we didn't have AR, Pittman, Moss, and Smith. I don't though, that is a cop out. We should not have lost yesterday. If Lamar, Andrews, and Tucker weren't playing your point would be valid.

Lindebaum is a top 10 Center and Stanley is their starting LT and on par with Smith when it comes to Pass blocking. In a game we had 16 total pressures (including 4 sacks) you'd think them missing these two guys would get more recognition...

This place would be nuclear under those circumstances.

I don't knock anyone's opinions but I legit get a laugh when some folks post things like 'why can't we do such and such??' when we've got the backups back-up in.

We expect Peyton results from Minshew because he plays the same position... Lol

Football is rough, you've just got to hope for not to many injuries and good chemistry for the entire season.

But it is hysterical that KC is only one game better. That's funny.

It’s a good week to shut him down for a week. They are playing the panthers. If you can’t get it done against panthers with Bethard then they don’t deserve the playoffs.

From 2003-2009, we never sniffed being around 9-6. If we had this place would have been volcano GIF

And Beathard took some hard shots yesterday and unfortunately their 3rd QB Nathan Rourke (CFL star ) was just claimed off their Practice Squad by the Pats so now you are looking at recently signed EJ Perry who was released back in March and has never thrown an NFL pass.....this could get ugly fast

Yeah we won because they were out lmao . You would think, you would give us credit for just beating them without our starting QB.

I'm happy we won. I just don't think it makes us better than them. I don't think it makes us better than average. You know why? Because I look at how we played and when we played them.

We played hard and we played up to them, but they also played down to us. And, whether you want to admit it or not, they did have some pretty key injuries. We were missing JT who has shown bupkis this season. He's not 2021 JT.

I firmly believe if we were to play them now or in the playoffs, with something on the line, they would trounce us.

You mean our rookie QB?

I swear AR has achieved god-like status on here among some and he gets better and better every time someone talks about him, lol.

I think he did good - for a rookie. He showed promise and did a lot of the right things. But, outside Colts Nation AR - at this moment - is no one's top choice. He's in no one's top 10.

I wish people would stop acting like him playing would've made us so much better. I don't think it's fair to him at all.

Mahomes looks tired and exhausted. This might not bode well for the bengals Sunday.

this goes to show a qb needs a team around him, even one of the best needs a great o-line and elite wrs. we can also see teams with an elite o-line and elite wrs win with an average qb

Don’t forget the egregious non-PI call on EJ Speed that would have set the Ravens up to win in regulation.

The Colts have already done a lot better than I thought they would this season and I can handle losing out and not making the playoffs…

But, I’m going to be PO’d if we look unprepared again. These are essentially playoff games coming up. At least prepare as such!

    • It's understandable for some fans to be frustrated when the team loses.  Some seem to take it way too serious and or personal.  I been a Colt fan for a very long time and have seen the best and worst of times.  What good does it do getting bent over grown men getting paid millions to play a game?
    • Here’s a fun exercise! Let’s go over a list of players who have signed, or re-signed here after actually hitting free agency (if top free agents don’t want to come here then surely they don’t stay after hitting FA, right?) and where they have ranked in those free agency classes from credible media outlets!    2012 (Per CBS Sports top 100) Reggie Wayne (Re-signed) -22 Cory Redding - 39 Samson Satele - 68 2013 (Per NFL[dot]com top 85) Gosder Cherilus - 46 LaRon Landry - 57 2014 (Per NFL[dot]com top 101) Hakeem Nicks - 22 Art Jones - 32 D’Qwell Jackson - 49 2015 (Per NFL[dot]com top 101) Andre Johnson - 20 Frank Gore - 29 Trent Cole - 31 Kendall Langford - 64   2016 (Per NFL[dot]com top 99) Patrick Robinson - 79   2017 (Per NFL[dot]com top 101) Jonathan Hankins - 11 Jabaal Sheard - 29 Jack Doyle (Re-signed) - 61 John Simon - 64 Darius Butler (Re-signed) - 100 Margus Hunt - 101   2018 (Per anyone and everyone) None   2019 (Per NFL[dot]com top 101) Justin Houston - 8 Devin Funchess - 45 Pierre Desir (Re-signed) - 46 Clayton Geathers (Re-signed) - 63 2020 (Per NFL[dot]com top 101) Philip Rivers - 11 Anthony Costanzo (Re-signed) - 12 2021 (Per NFL[dot]com top 101) TY Hilton (Re-signed) - 33 Eric Fisher - 42 Xavier Rhodes - 53 Marlon Mack (Re-signed) - 79 Al-Quadin Muhammad (Re-signed) - 99 2022 (Per NFL[dot]com top 101) Stephon Gilmore - 12 2023 (Per NFL[dot]com top 101) Samson Ebukam - 58 Gardner Minshew - 95   2024 (Per NFL[dot]com top 101) Julian Blackmon (Re-signed) - 35 Kenny Moore (Re-signed) - 38 Grover Stewart (Re-signed) - 40   Regardless of how any of these signings actually worked out, it’s time to give the argument that top free agents won’t come here the old yeller treatment and bury it. It’s nonsense.
    • Because some are here to be right not support the Colts.
    • Huh?   Are you under the impression that a head coach — any head coach — approaches all 17 regular season games like a playoff game?   They don’t.      So I don’t care what Wash is doing with Daniels, they’re not the same player.  Daniels is far more experienced than AR, so how Wash uses JD is going to be different than how Steichen uses AR.     So my point is that Steichen can try to do both….   groom Richardson AND win games.  It doesn’t have to be one or the other.  It can be both.  Sorry we see this differently.
    • Because we have a GM who won’t really attempt to do business.    Ryan Grigson didn’t have a problem landing free agents.   Andre Johnson was a superstar when he came here. We didn’t know he was washed up until after he got here and he got out on the field.    Does the name “Frank Gore” ring a bell? At all? He’s only a hall of fame player, so maybe you’ve never heard of him.   Corey Redding signed here late in his career, and he helped get Pagano’s 3-4 off the ground.    Mike Adams came here and promptly made a pair of pro-bowls.    Gosder Cherilus was considered one of the best right tackles in the league when he signed here, despite how it turned out.    Ahmad Bradshaw came here before injuries derailed his career for good.    LaRon Landry was a heavily sought after free agent, and chose to come here to make the bank to buy his juice.    Erik Walden came here and far exceeded the deal he was on.    Art Jones had a lot of interest around the league when he signed here before injuries and getting hooked up with LaRon Landry’s juice dealer got in the way.   D’qwell Jackson signed here after being one of the league’s leading tacklers for the Browns and made a pro bowl that same year.    Hakeem Nicks signed here after starting a winning Super Bowl for the Giants and having a 1K+ yards and 10+ TD season. He had multiple 1K yard seasons under his belt on arrival.    What about trades? Vontae Davis came here in a trade. Glaze over it with the benefit of hindsight all you want, but Trent Richardson was 1 year removed from being the 3rd overall pick, and had put up 1K yards rushing as a rookie when he landed in town.     Hell, even Ballard has been able to land some high quality free agents when he’s actually been willing to make a deal. Philip Rivers and Stephon Gilmore didn’t wind up here because the league told them they had to be here.    The facts that these free agents all signed here aren’t untrue simply because you either don’t remember them, or just flat out don’t know them. Luckily someone writes these signings down somewhere for the sake of posterity, so we can look back on those official records and prove that they did in fact happen, despite the claims to the contrary.
