This team wins more if they started Minshew.

Wins what?  More preseason games?  Minshew is a solid QB. But his MO is he doesn’t win regular season games. Check his record.

I don’t think that’s the primary goal this year.  The announcers have even acknowledged that.  This year is about developing Richardson and if they take a hit in the wins and losses to do that this year that’s okay in the Colts book.

Probably, but that’s not the point of this season. It’s about developing Anthony and seeing if he has what it takes to be in the NFL. And to do that we need a full seasons worth of tape.

Random musings as we approach the late hours of the evening:

Our uniforms > Eagles

I’ve said it before and Al Michaels apparently agrees: Richardson’s voice is so unique and good that even if he doesn’t make it in the NFL he’s got a career in voice acting and commentating.

I guess. But still believe the  Herm method.

That screen wasn’t a bad play call. Receiver probably should’ve bounced it back outside. Easy for me to say from my couch though.

Those plays against our D's historically go for 25 a clip... Lol

Shepley's block didn't help, though.

Demaryus Thomas used to take those to the house for Peyton in Denver

And Ballard looks on… looking like he’s back in his scouting days. He’s got some tough decisions to make.

The tight end room is going to be hard.  So many guys who deserve to be here.  Do you have enough spots?  Can they block?

Sterling Weatherford was the guy they hated to lose.

Yeah but looking at what Stuart has become it was the right move.  Ballard has admitted Weatherford would have made it had they not traded for Stuart.

    • There’s two and maybe the TE from Cleveland that was bantered about at the deadline.  I would bet we could find a real nice upgrade going that route.
    • It most likely was the correct call but I was still scared of it considering how awful we always seem to be at 2 yards and goal. Just ask yourselves how many times we have had a long pass and the receiver is tackled at the 2 for a fist and goal and we end up kicking a FG?
    • I loved the decision. If the Pats started with the ball in OT, they score a FG minimum. We only forced one punt all game. This was absolutely the right decision to control our own destiny by going for it. I feel like a bunch of people underestimated Maye on this forum before the game, and it'll be similar with the Broncos and Bo Nix next game.   I bash Steichen a lot, but he made the right decision here. You also have to remember if we lose, we are probably missing the playoffs. That was a season-saving decision there.
    • I don’t think you fire your DC with four games to go and still in a playoff race with very winnable games in front of you.  So you replace him with Ron Milus?  I don’t see any upside at this time.  We’ve come this far with all of the adversity and drama and even have an opportunity to improve on last year’s record.  This is not the time.  You let the season play out.
    • No hold or whatever Matt did, Richardson would have been stuffed
