I think I inquired very late after the league started last year.. :D .. had no clue about the league going on here even as I'm in this forum for 4th year now

How's September 2nd sound for Draft date?   

 

Tagging everyone here cause Idk who will be in.  No response from onebad150, he's not been on site for almost a year. If I can't get confirmation from him either through here or the direct email, then crazycolt will have his spot. Lucky last logged in on the 15th. 

 

Did anyone have any changes they wanted to put up for vote?

@Narcosys Sorry to butt in, was wondering if we could actually push that time to evening on the 2nd or do it on the 26th as you mentioned as a possibility? The reason for this is that I will be driving for 4 hours on that Saturday for a wedding happening on the 3rd and likely won’t be available until later afternoon or evening. Thanks!

The 26th is doable as well as the evening if the 2nd. But you'll be too busy to deal with this and I wouldn't want to inconvenience you.

Sorry, you're new here.    

 

So the way it works is that in reverse end of season standings, you get to pick your position you want to draft from.  Since not everyone necessarily likes to pick in the first position, I give people the option to choose.  As we get new people, you guys fill in the gaps after veteran players pick their draft positions.

      Totally agree . Pittman probably has been playing hurt all year. Plus Dulin has looked very good and Mitchell has shown that he can get open. Agree that JT is a bigger concern at this point in time.

      I think some of the Ballard-apologists would rather have the team lose so they can bash the people they view as "negative", rather than have the team win so we can all be happy as a forum and make the playoffs every year. They get off on attacking people who don't "appeal to authority" as if we have to tow the company line as fans.   These people only figure out things when it happens at the last second, and very rarely do they apologize or admit when they are wrong.

      I always wonder why I am so widely criticized, as I think I have been so right on a lot of things concerning this franchise. Yet, people rush to defend a GM that has done nothing in 8 years. I really don't get it!!! I make a small mistake about a Pittman contract but I think most people get my point. Ballard has a losing record and nothing on his resume. Yet, he is the 2nd coming. It baffles me.

      Lol I'm not flustered nor triggered. Im amused by you defending moose for not being able to make an intelligent point.   He wrote an entire paragraph making the point that Pittman, and many other free agents, should not have been extended early.  He wrote this in multiple sentences.  So pointing out that Pittman was a fa, not an early extendee does not ignore the point, it directly refuted the point. If he wanted to make a different point, then use different words.   And people wouldn't be nearly as amused by pointing this out to him if it weren't for the fact he rarely shows up, and when he does it's to demonstrate what he seemingly feels is his superior intellect and football intelligence while patronizing the majority of forum.
