Between Stroud, Young, Richardson, Levis and Hooker they all have warts and none are a sure fire number one pick.

Sure, Young is likely the most polished right now, but he’s a couple heavy hits away from the Injured Reserve.

Stroud has been throwing to 1st Round talent at WR for his entire career, that’s easy to look good then and have high completion percentage and lots of TD’s.

Hooker is injured and threw to good talent at TN as well…..

Levis and Richardson are more about projection than current abilities than the rest of the field.

So who do they take? My money is on one of the two fellas that are bigger, stronger and have more projection…..

As a fan I will get behind whichever of the 5 they deem worthy of drafting but I am leaning towards Levis or Richardson at this point.

Yet, Levis was more injured than Young in the SEC.

If Young drops to No.3, I want Ballard to go get him. You can always double down like with Cousins and RG3 by getting a high upside backup like Bennett. It would not bother me a bit getting a guy like Young with a higher floor for a faster turnaround. None of the QBs drafted in 2009-16 were with their team in 2021. The rookie contract allows teams for moving on faster too.

However, the odds do say Levis or Richardson, those odds, I agree with.

I’m all for doubling down and drafting two guys……that’s what I find interesting about the Hall kid from BYU as a late round flyer - same kinda build as Young and his NFL comp is our very own Gardner Minshew……lol

True statement about Young’s injury history, still hard to project that level of health at the NFL level. If he’s our guy I will be onboard with him for sure!
