We know that Siriani and Steichen used their RB's extensively in Philadelphia, the Colts may be gearing up to do the same here. Apparently Evans is a return specialist as well?

Good signing. Came from the Titans. Not much opportunity with Derrick Henry running the show over there. He should fit in well here. Might have a chance to fight for as high as the no2 job behind Taylor if he's good enough.

 

I don't think we have to worry about drafting an RB now. Sign a couple UDFA RBs and we can let everyone compete behind Taylor.

I think this signing was mainly do to his kick return skills, we have Dallis Flowers who is amazing and lead league last year BUT we dont often see starters used as k.r and it appears Flowers is going to be given a legitimate shot at starting at Corner so Evans staying on roster may very well be tied to this situation.

Looks like he will likely take over at PR & KR duties since they like Flowers and Rodgers so much they will likely see more snaps defensively which means less snaps on ST.

It wouldn't surprise me to see either be removed from SP positions.

Based on what Ballard said he likes what he saw in them and wants to see them play in a larger capacity defensively. I’m almost certain that Rodgers won’t return another kick next season.
