You guys can make jokes about Minshew.but just watch his games when Jalen Hurts was injured. 
.. Dallas game and Saints. He has matured alot since his Jax days and I think he will be a solid backup QB. 

He is good enough for us to use the 4th pick on Anderson.  Shane and Ballard knows it too.

We were discussing this at work about being a target for the Colts and next day the Colts made it happen.   Bottom line expect Minshew to be our starter for the year and rebuild BPA youth for our future QB next year.

I wonder if signing Minshew allows us to trade a better option outside QB with pick 4.  While it could be suggested that he is at a level close to the rookie QB (they all have their question marks) he allows Ballard to get the BPA in the draft, with a later pick targeting a QB prospect
