We got another 5th

Recommended Posts

That is good to know. If that helps us move up to the back end of the 2nd round if someone falls, giving up a 3rd and 5th, I would not mind it at all. We need a QB, OL and CB starter from this draft, IMO. The rest can be complementary pieces to augment what we already have and/or have drafted.

I wouldn't say Moss is better but just a different skill set.

Moss averaged 4.8 yards a carry for us this season while Hines averaged 2.0. Hines has better hands but didnt produce great numbers there either at 7.4 yards a catch.

Some say numbers dont matter BUT they def tell a story.

Moss is better then Hines straight up,plus we save money AND get a draft pick. Really liking this trade.

I’m with you on this. Moss fit the Colts’ running system far better. Between the tackles. Hines was never very good as a backup RB. A solid 3rd down back and pretty good return specialist. IMO, the Colts got better with Moss as the backup.

We got another 5th round from the Bills pick for Hines.

This is half-true. The conditional 6th rounder we got from the Bills for Hines was upgraded to a 5th. Still good, and I believe we moved up 41 spots from 206 to 165, but we lost the 6th rounder in the process of gaining the 5th.

Just pointing this out so people don't think it's a pure pick-gain.

I would say we need 2 starters on the OL, at both center and RG/RT, 2 starters at CB as Gilmore could start declining next season, a upper echelon DE, a quality WR, and obviously QB.
