I seen your tweet, even Homer loves that one Homer Simpson Laughing GIF by FOX TV- if we hire Saturday this place will implode like it never has. It has imploded before over losses and Luck retiring, Reich getting bashed over a loss, but if Saturday gets hired, look out regarding the posts lmao

I’m gonna straight call Irsay an * if he does and I may be done with the Colts for awhile.

Keefer says he thinks something will break Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday.

You have what the fans want vs. what Ballard ends up doing.  When it comes to the draft, free agency, coaching hires, etc., about the only time those two things ever intersected was on the McDaniels hire, and that didn't end well.

For a few reasons, I'm gonna say there's a good chance it's Martindale or Bisaccia.

You missed a great era. I wish I was 35 again but to be able to watch the NFL and NBA during the 80's was priceless.

I bet I did.  But thanks for making me feel grateful for being 35. Sometimes that feels really old to me, and I think about being 25 again! Should appreciate where I am at.

Yeah. I could see that happening. Could envision Roman for OC with Martindale? don't know who Bisaccia would bring in? He had Greg Olsen during his interim with Raiders

Yeah when I was in my 30's I was running 7 miles a day and could put up 225 pound on the bench, not bad for someone who was only 180 pounds. Now I am old and fat - by my standards but life has been great. Wait until you turn 50 lmao . The dumb stuff really starts to kick in unless you just eat perfectly and have a perfect diet. Now days if I sleep wrong my neck or back hurts haha . You were what only 18 years old when we won the SB in 2006?

Zach Hicks says he heard a lot of good things about Callahan and Morris. He said he isn’t super plugged in but has a couple sources from agents and colts and thinks it will be one of those two. He even heard Morris has already reached out to potential staff to join him in Indy.  Says he had heard they either want some one like Morris with experience or a offensive guy. Ballard does like Steichan a ton. So he is a wild card. That may be why we haven’t had a hire yet. He wanted a chance to interview Steichen.

You really want to have your mind blown... most of the students I teach were born AFTER our Super Bowl victory in '06...

Same... I wish I could remember what my username was before the 2011 website change. Completely lost all the information and had to create a new one (that's why it says I started in 2015).

They probably have no idea who Joe Montana even is. Most youngsters think LeBron is the best too but it is just generations. My biological father thought Wilt was the best. See I think Kareem was better but that is who I grew up with, to me Magic was the man as far as leadership, Jordan is the GOAT but many never seen them play. Dad also thought  Fran Tarkenton was the best ever but he was a Vikings fan. He said Fran could do it all, he did have all the records when he retired and he could he run like these guys do now days + he played in 3 SB's, just never won it.

I would say my aches and pains started around, when I was 47 or 48 but I ran a lot and worked out a lot, played sports in high school. My diet sucks too so it is what it is haha

Kind of like how the Army now has soldiers who weren’t alive to remember 9/11.

If they do, then Nadine and the others should just shut this site down until the night of the draft

I consider myself lucky to have witnessed Manning vs. Marino in the '98 season. I'm pretty happy to have seen some of the best to ever play: Manning, Marino, Favre, Brady. In my area we were all huge Elway fans prior to Peyton coming to Indy.

Is anyone else seeing this stuff about Wink Martindale being the front runner for the job? I’ve seen it on Twitter and Facebook from Colts people/groups.

It started from a giants media person. But his teeet was funny because he said he was a front runner but didn’t know if he would be in a third round of interviews lol. I really don’t think he is a front runner.

If that can't decide after 2 rounds; something is definitely not right. What are they expecting after supposedly 12 hours meeting already. Another 12 hours to talk about what?

What do you mean?! Mr. Irsay have a big guitar collection; there is plenty to talk about! Plenty!!1 haha

Yeah it traces back to Pat Leonard who is a NY sports guy. I wonder if there is some truth to these agents trying to just prop their guys up. I also saw an Indy Media person say that he’s got some Bruce Arians in him and Irsay loved Arians. Might just be someone trying to connect dots that aren’t there.

3rd round of interviews ??? Lol.

Come on Colts fans, don't you all see what is happening here ?

Irsay is running out the clock and by the time he makes the decision all the other coaching candidates will be hired away to other teams.

All that will be left is Saturday.

So Irsay gets his man !

And yet, he might be a strong candidate.

For #’s sake, now everyone who has had a 2nd interview is getting a chance at being “the front runner”.

Several thoughts.   Kevin Hickey who runs Colts wire is just a clearing house for already published Colts info.   He is NOT breaking news himself.   I’m not knocking him. I’m just saying.   He does a good job.

But the Martindale story is overblown.   The headline says he is “A” front runner, it does not say he is “THE” front runner and that’s a big difference.

Also there is a tweet from Pat Leonard  in the link calling Martindale “one of the front runners”.

Bottom line: if you’re in the Round two group, you are — almost by definition — a front runner.

So I strongly recommend to all, do NOT read too much into this.  There are 8 candidates left, and they’re ALL front runners.

    • Once again running out time to put out a complete list of both offense and defensive players and where I have them ranked among their peers.  Common theme from original pre-college Week 1 many of the top players are not even listed or have fallen sharply after around 4 weeks of playing.    2025 NFL Draft QBs Cam Ward - Miami (FL) - Ward’s 3x300 games in a row have earned him 3-straight 90.0+ passing grades.  Jaxson Dart (MISS)  Diego Pavia (Vandy) - after 4 weeks and is R2 in the SEC ahead of Ewers, Manning, Milroe, Nussmeier, and Carson Beck.  Thrown 6 TDs no INTs, recovered 3 teammate fumbles. Ben Wooldridge (Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns) Noah Fiftia (Arizona)  KJ Jefferson (UCF) Tyler Shough (Louisville)  Cam Miller (NDST) Kyle McCord (Syracuse)   2025 NFL Draft OL LG Michael McAninch (Air Force) - After 3 weeks has a 91.7 overall season grade with a 92.4 RB grade.  Proved he can hold up to Baylor didn’t allow any QB pressure. RT Tyler Needham (Rutgers) 6’4” 306-pounds – After 3 weeks been dominant.  On 48 PB snaps only given up 1 QB hurry. LT/RT/OG Grey Zabel (North Dakota State) RT Lucas Scott (Army) 6’3” 305-pounds – After 3 weeks has an 85.2 RB grade.  Figure the Army trains more hand-to-hand combat and could be decent in PB game as well. LG Joshua Gray (Oregon State) LG Donovan Jackson (OSU) - good to see Jackson play again and display his dominance in his return to action. OT Wyatt Milum (West Virginia) RG Luke Kandra (Cincinnati) RG Tate Ratledge (Georgia LT Kelvin Banks Jr (Texas) LG Dylan Fairchild (Georgia) LT Percy Lewis (Auburn) 6’7” 355-pounds – After 4 weeks on 85 snaps has a 78.5 grade as a backup.
