That's a sweet house. Mine is basically just a garden shack next to that behemoth lol...

It’s beautiful. A colt fan on twitter who lives in california was like wish I could get that much house for that. I can’t imagine what his new house looks like if he wanted to move out of that one.

The cost of living in Cali and NY is outrageous. It would blow your mind. My Mom and Step-dad have a house in Center Grove and it is worth $700,000. Their house has it all even a Sun room, Basement, half an acre in the back yard fenced in + a 3 car garage and 4 bedrooms - their master bedroom is like an apartment. In Cali or NY it would be worth 3 Mill. I thought maybe my step-dad would give Russell Wilson a run for his money with the 4 showers/full bathrooms chuckling homer simpson GIF

Hopefully after Steichans interview tomorrow we get more progress on this.

I know everyone is expecting a 3rd round of interviews but I remain skeptical.  I just find it hard to believe no one has stood out among the candidates.  I think we will have a decision shortly after Steichen’s interview.  For me I don’t see a new set of interviews changing the rankings.  JMO.

I thought Morris wowed them in the interview process? And I'm guessing Callahan did well also. So I guess I'm not sure what they are waiting on unless they are going hard after Steichen and just want to hear everyone else out. I'm not so sure Steichen is a better candidate over Callahan though.

Yeah that report said might do third rounds. I am skeptical too. If they go to third rounds it means that they want Steichen or maybe even Bneimy.

Why does that disqualify him?

I am not sure what is going on with Eric? I think he would be good hire but maybe he doesn't interview well. That is what sucks, you or I, or anyone else has the ability to talk to these guys. I do know KC has rolled every year since he has been there but is that more Andy and Mahomes basically being on the cusp of being a top 10 QB of all-time? I really don't know.

I get why it needs to be acknowledged that Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes are all time greats. But that doesn't mean that Bieniemy shouldn't even be considered.

As it stands, it doesn't seem like he's a "finalist," whatever that even means at this point. And several other teams have considered him and gone in a different direction. It sounds like the most likely result for him is to go to another team as OC and primary play caller, and see if he can get out from under the shadow of Reid and Mahomes.

Yeah I agree, it is a bit strange. He was one of my favorites on my list. I obviously wanted Harbaugh but that didn't happen. I liked Ben Johnson, I like Kafka as well, but I also do like Eric.

I think it’s really this simple.

For sure that's a major factor. The length of the process is directly related to the availability of the candidates. It's possible that they have a few guys they really like already, but they're not making a decision until they've taken a good look at everyone on their list. If it's someone in the Super Bowl, like Steichen, they can't make an official hire yet anyway. But I think we might see real finalists emerge after this week.

I just saw this. I don't think Solak is plugged in to Indy info, and I don't think anyone has any meaningful info about what the Colts are doing or thinking.

My best friend just told me this on the phone 10 mins ago. Was reading through the comments and saw you just posted it. Normally I'd take it with a grain of salt, but there's probably a lot of truth to this.

I seen your tweet, even Homer loves that one Homer Simpson Laughing GIF by FOX TV- if we hire Saturday this place will implode like it never has. It has imploded before over losses and Luck retiring, Reich getting bashed over a loss, but if Saturday gets hired, look out regarding the posts lmao

Yep. This doesn't seem random though, it's the scenario that most Colts fans are fearing and it fits with the narrative that Irsay would hire his friend that he feels comfortable running the team. It also fits the narrative that Irsay is meddling and is a meddling owner. We had some sample size, this would just continue it.

I want Kafka and either Young or Stroud, if not even Eric B.. Saturday would be a great O.Line coach.

I will be done if this happens. Irsay and I am not joking needs to have a intervention if it happens.

I don't blame you, I won't watch as long as he is the coach. This is the perfect combination of an unqualified cadidate with owner meddling combined with who you know instead of what you know. I'll be out as well.

He does mention he talked to people plugged into the search. Whatever that means.  That could of just been random bloggers. No one has really been able to get a hold on the Indy job because nothing is leaking.

Yep, you can only expect your fanbase to take so much. I'll wait for it to happen before overreacting, but I don't like the direction this is headed.

    • Once again running out time to put out a complete list of both offense and defensive players and where I have them ranked among their peers.  Common theme from original pre-college Week 1 many of the top players are not even listed or have fallen sharply after around 4 weeks of playing.    2025 NFL Draft QBs Cam Ward - Miami (FL) - Ward’s 3x300 games in a row have earned him 3-straight 90.0+ passing grades.  Jaxson Dart (MISS)  Diego Pavia (Vandy) - after 4 weeks and is R2 in the SEC ahead of Ewers, Manning, Milroe, Nussmeier, and Carson Beck.  Thrown 6 TDs no INTs, recovered 3 teammate fumbles. Ben Wooldridge (Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns) Noah Fiftia (Arizona)  KJ Jefferson (UCF) Tyler Shough (Louisville)  Cam Miller (NDST) Kyle McCord (Syracuse)   2025 NFL Draft OL LG Michael McAninch (Air Force) - After 3 weeks has a 91.7 overall season grade with a 92.4 RB grade.  Proved he can hold up to Baylor didn’t allow any QB pressure. RT Tyler Needham (Rutgers) 6’4” 306-pounds – After 3 weeks been dominant.  On 48 PB snaps only given up 1 QB hurry. LT/RT/OG Grey Zabel (North Dakota State) RT Lucas Scott (Army) 6’3” 305-pounds – After 3 weeks has an 85.2 RB grade.  Figure the Army trains more hand-to-hand combat and could be decent in PB game as well. LG Joshua Gray (Oregon State) LG Donovan Jackson (OSU) - good to see Jackson play again and display his dominance in his return to action. OT Wyatt Milum (West Virginia) RG Luke Kandra (Cincinnati) RG Tate Ratledge (Georgia LT Kelvin Banks Jr (Texas) LG Dylan Fairchild (Georgia) LT Percy Lewis (Auburn) 6’7” 355-pounds – After 4 weeks on 85 snaps has a 78.5 grade as a backup. OC Jake Slaughter (Florida) LT Josh Simmons (OSU)   2025 NFL Draft RBs RB/WR-KR Brashard Smith (Southern Methodist) 5’10” 196 pounds - Smith already has 17 missed tackles, 3rd most among all college RBs. RB Ashton Jeanty (Boise St) 5’9” 215-pounds  RB Quinshon Judkins (OSU) 6’0 219-pounds RB Jonah Coleman (Washington) RB RJ Harvey (UCF) 5’9” 208-pounds RB Ja’Quinden Jackson (Arkansas) 6’2” 233-pounds – Issues fumbling RB Treveyon Henderson (OSU) 5’10” 208 pounds RB Devin Neal (Kansas) 5’11” 215 pounds RB Omarion Hampton (UNC) 6’0” 220 pounds RB Nicholas Singleton (PSU) 6’0” 227 pounds RB Jo’Quavious “Woody” Marks (USC) 5’10 208-pounds   2025 NFL Draft WRs WR-Z Tai Felton (Maryland) WR-X Tre Harris (Mississippi) WR-X Ricky White (UNLV) WR-SL Nick Nash (San Jose State) WR-X Tetairoa McMillian (Arizona) WR-Z Kobe Hudson (UCF) WR-SL Kaedin Robinson (App St) WR-SL Xavier Restrepo Miami (FL) WR-X Andrew Armstrong (Arkansas) WR-M/ST PR-KR Jaylin Noel (Iowa St) WR-X Jayden Higgins (Iowa St) WR-Y Emeka Egbuka (OSU)   2025 NFL Draft TE TE Harold Fannin Jr. (Bowling Green) - outproduced rest of TE class against top 25 ranked teams and single-handedly beat PSU.  Prior to week 4 R1 I total yards (204) and YAC with 131. TE Tyler Warren (PSU) TE Jalin Conyers (Texas Tech) - After 3 weeks has an 83.7 overall PFF grade and with Texas Tech excelling in run-blocking. TE Brant Kuithe (Utah) TE/WR Oronde Gadsden II (Syracuse) TE Colston Loveland (Michigan) TE Terrance Ferguson (Oregon) TE Jake Briningstool (Clemson)
    • Josh Allen Buffalo bills.  Super raw passer but big body with wheels.  It can happen just not easy or likely to happen
    • Thanks NFL for another typical primetime NFL LEast matchup. We learned both teams suck as bad as we thought they did
