What Does a "Quality Control Coach" Do?

Watches film, compiles tendencies provided by analytics, provides a week to week game plan of what plays typically work against an opponent, on both sides. Jon Gruden, and other coaches, all started as Quality Control coaches to begin with.

 

Erik Spoelstra, Miami Heat HC, on the NBA side, started off as a QC coach too.
