I can't wait to see what we do in the draft.

Chuck Pagano Profile

East Carolina offensive tackle Steven Baker has visited the Oakland Raiders and Atlanta Falcons and worked out for the Indianapolis Colts, according to a league source.

Baker is a massive late-round draft prospect or a priority free agent who's extremely athletic at nearly 6-foot-8 and 310 pounds.

In terms of his frame, Baker resembles Carolina Panthers offensive lineman Bruce Campbell.

Baker ran the 40-yard dash from 4.91 to 4.99 seconds at his campus Pro Day workout, making him one of the fastest offensive linemen in the draft.

He bench pressed 225 pounds 22 times, registered a 32-inch vertical leap, a 9-2 broad jump, a 4.70 20-yard shuttle and a 7.91 three-cone drill.

Baker is something of a late bloomer, emerging as a starter at right offensive tackle as a senior. For more coverage of the NFL, go to profootball.scout.com.

If he's not ready..we have time to afford a 'project' or two...(or 10)

I would think we will bring in many undrafted Free agents and, since we have little doubt about the front end of the draft..

allltime right now is probably being consumed with the back end of the draft..

I've seen this guy listed from 301lbs to 310lbs, for a 6'8" guy that is extremely lanky if not just skinny. I think this guy will have to get much stronger and a bit heavier before he could even think about being a contributor in the NFL.
