I was born in 1981, the youngest i can remember when I started becoming a fan. I was a pacer fan first and I was a dolphin fan besides the Colts fan. Seeing Eric Dickerson, the excitement of drafting the home grown hero in Jeff George, to Mr. Comback in Jim Harbaugh. I know I am not the only one who felt robbed in the afc championship game against the steelers with the hallmark pass to the end zone which the ball never touched the ground. That year Tony seriguso said it during the playoffs that nobody wanted the colts in it.

I have lived in Denver for almost 20 years, born and raised in Indiana for 21. I still consider myself a hoosier however.  I almost make every colts game that comes here against the broncos, though wearing with pride got harassed, threatened and insulted but I still root for old blue with pride.  I represent here the respectful fan of indy so I had bronco fans defend me multiple times too with the drunk *s the last home game I went to was the rca dome against, you guessed it, tom Brady and the pats. We lost but was fun anyways those years.

Draft: Jim irsay hinted he wanted to get a certain player in the draft. I agree. His father played for us, him and Manning -- now a new generation Richardson and Marvin Harrison Jr. Hope it happens. I'll give up 2 first round draft picks 3 seconds 3ound draft picks the next few years to trade Arizona for Marvin Harrison Jr.

I live in Utah myself (my entire life) and I have travelled to Indiana on just one occasion to see the colts the last year of the RCA Dome…haven’t made it back yet. But, I have wanted to make it to the raiders game in Vegas to see them it just didn’t work out, and this year Denver is closest and while id like to make it up there it probably won’t happen as we purchased an investment property that has tied up some of my financial freedom I used to have.

you got lucky being able to cheer Peyton on in Denver then ?? Or did you not follow them much even with manning ?

Hello! I was born in Indianapolis but have lived in Denver for the last 5 years. I'm still a diehard Colts and Hoosier basketball fan. I recently joined the forum to try to find some fellow Colts fans in Denver. I am able to reply to posts, but am unable to create topics or message people. Is this by design or some sort of bug that I am not understanding? Thanks!

I believe you have to have 10 posts approved before you can post a new topic. @Nadine @Superman

Hi Arydery and welcome!

Yes, it is by design.  It's how we minimize disruption to the community.

Hey guys, Zoltan here from Budapest - hence the username, ha-ha - long time Colts fan, well, I guess longish. Since around 2005. That's almost 20 years, so I guess that is considered long. Not a huge fan of the team building in the last few years, but AR is so exciting, hopefully he will develop nicely this year.

Thank you! No, still in Hungary, Budapest, the capital city. Working for a recruiting agency here actually, we even had some american football players, although no premier talent here, the highest we sent players was D2 and D3. This might change soon, we could have a new client (don't want to jinx it yet), it's a Hungarian kid but already spent two years in an American high school, and was a conference selection, huge kid, line player. Hopefully he'll be our first major football player (swimming, soccer, water polo, fencing are some of our bread&butter sports here in Hungary).

That's cool.

Do you have to watch the games online, or are they on TV there?

They actually broadcast about 5 games every weekend, so it came a long way. Usually it was 1-2 for a while, now they broadcast TNF, one early game on Sunday, two late games, and the MNF. But I actually prefer the original commentary, it's almost always a higher quality experience. They even broadcast college game nowadays, the popularity of the sport has increased here a lot.

Well,

hope you get lots of Colts games this year. Good to know my favorite team has fans other than us local folks.

    • Wow, that sucks. It must've been pretty bad cuz MPJ is a warrior.    It's hard to believe how many players/how much of Indy's cap is hurt this year.    Here's hoping Mitchell steps up and sheds his whole scared to get hit persona.
    • Probably twice I can remember but never missed a game.
    • I would honestly trade pittman and draft someone that is A a better player more dynamic weapon and B cheaper.
    • Gus will get fired and nothing else will change.   After the Colts finish with a top 15 pick its going to be the same thing.   Ballard will say “Look, we didn’t get it done. I will hold myself accountable and I didn’t give us enough to do go win games. Look We had some tough injuries. Things just didn’t go our way. I still believe in these young guys.”   Ballard mentioned in his earlier years that he will spend to get the team over the top. Once he believed the Colts were close to a championship he would be willing to risk more to get some guys to put it all together. Problem is, we haven’t even been close because of his poor decisions and stubbornness.    Okay rant over.
    • Guys I will take the blame for all the injuries. I don’t know what I did to get cursed but all of my sports teams this year are made of glass. I’m a huge braves fan and we lost our star outfielder Ronald Acuna for the year and our star pitcher Spencer strider for the year.  That’s not all, our all star level players Ozzie albies ,Austin Riley , and Roy winner Michael Harris, lost over 50 games each with injury.   Oh and our best pitcher and this years most likely cy young winner got injured and couldn’t pitch in the playoffs.    I feel like I’ve seen so many injuries this year on my favorite teams that I’m some how causing it , like medusas gaze lol.    No but seriously I think this could be a blessing in disguise. Pittman wasn’t exactly lighting the world on fire and I think our young guys could use the experience of stepping up into a higher role in the offense. We will see how it goes.
