I also notice safeties aren’t rangy like Ed Reed, Earl Thomas, Bethea as much anymore. If your CB is running step by step with the WR, a safety like McCourty should be able to look at the QB and make a play on the ball. Maybe he’s slowed down because safeties should be able to break it up

You think the colts can slow Jefferson down? I mean slow down by holding him to under 120 yards lol

By the way another terrible blown call by the REFS in the Bills at Lions game. Final play that set up the Bills game winning FG, Spencer Brown facemasked a Lions player and it was clear on the Josh Allen run to get the Bills to the 28. That would have made their FG attempt 60 yards instead of 45 yards. I doubt he makes that. It just keeps happening over and over each week.

Eagles did with Darius Slay and you need a very good CB that can hang with him all day to do so. Gilmore can’t do it throughout the game, so you have to roll Thomas with Rodgers’ speed for most of the game and Gilmore in red zone situations.

If properly done, yes we can limit him to less than 120 yards definitely.

Well, Mac Jones’ face mask was grabbed twice towards the last 2 drives for the Patriots. They’re not calling face masks consistently like before and it’s a league wide problem. On the Vikings return TD, normally refs call holding easily on returns but they let holding on Kyle Dugger go and that was a critical call they missed during a huge swing in the game.

Yeah it has cost us possibly 2 games. Hines got facemasked against the Titans which would have put us 1st and goal earlier in the season, instead the Titans stopped him for a loss and on the next play it set up a 3rd and long, Matt got a pick 6 trying to force things on the next play. It just gets tiring. If we get away with a facemask on Pickett late in the game that helps us win the game on Monday, I won't feel bad at all at this point because we have got screwed twice and the Lions did too.

Having said that because it is Pittsburgh they will probably call a penalty on us lmao .
