I don't see AR as a polarizing player at all. I think everybody wants him to succeed. Its not the player. Its the fans. What caused the forum to blow up were the fans reaction to the benching. I think the hero image they has was popped, and were angry at the Colts for popping it. As I figured, AR has returned to the starting line up after a few games. It looks a bit foolish to get so upset when a raw young QB gets justifiably benched 2 or 3 games because he was playing at embarrassing low level...thereby also embarrassing the Colts uniform. Why so angry about it?

Some people believe in his potential and others dont see it yet. Its as simple as that Hes really athletic but hes also played pretty bad. Bad enough for some to question if they want to see another year of him. I want to see him get another chance but i wouldnt go into next year saying Anthony is the only thing that matters again -

Look at the last sentence in my response. “I’m not reading as much, maybe there is confirmation and I’m not aware of it.” When I write something like that it should be an easy sign to read that I’m not giving you a hard time. I’m allowing for the possibility that I’m wrong. That I’m not looking for a fight. For a guy who claims that he’s good at reading people you sure miss some obvious signs and don’t understand what posters here are saying and doing. -
It'll end when AR stops making mistakes. We're spoiled for having Manning, Luck, and to a certain extent Rivers. We'd come to expect a top 4 pick to come in and make an impact in his 2nd year. And when it doesn't happen you get different opinions. I for one wasn't impressed with his collegiate season. I see the same mistakes he made in college. The biggest being sometimes he'll try and will a completion instead of throwing it away. This is often off his back foot and doesn't get to the receiver as it should. Since Manning, I'm not a "fan" of any one player. I just want them to succeed as a team and that includes the success of AR.

I don't think their is any questioning his desire to win on Sundays. It's just the fine details he has to learn. SS says he had taken steps. Let's give him a chance as he is pretty young. He will either grow or become another has been. I think we will know at the end of the season what we have. If he could lead them to the play offs. That would be the cherry on top. I am just hoping to find out if he is our guy. I think 7 games should give us time to evaluate what we have moving forward. Seems like the Colts r committed to him for the season. I actually think the locker room will get a push from this. I think a lot of guys in that locker room really want this guy to succeed. I have said the same thing. He seems like a good 'kid'. I have a son who played in the CFL. He was highly immature in ways when he was in university. He had a child in university. He said it was the best thing that ever happened to him. He was in geology. Took 5 classes and 5 labs and dealing with a new child. He got excellent reference from his prof. He did a complete 180 and is super mature. Sometimes it just takes someone to experience adversity. U either grow or continue on your old ways. Like my son, who was around the same age as AR, there is still hope as they were both quite young. Now I am hoping the only questions we having moving forward. Is he able to improve his accuracy and can he read a defence.
