A Few Things I Saw At Camp Today

Here are just a couple things I saw between both practices today at camp:

• Offense was getting runover and around by defense(both 1st and 2nd string)
  
• Brody Eldridge was practicing in the morning
  
• Delone Carter was playing some fullback in the morning and had great explosion of speed in evening drills
  
• Pat's kicks looked good with the 5 yard move
  
• Painter looked OK but would have been sacked alot from what I saw
  
• Nate Davis was unimpressive to me

-expected since its painter not manning running the offense

-thats a good sign since hes the only blocking TE we have

-i like the idea of him playing FB to help us get the tough yards

-thats good

-painter seems to always have trouble feeling the rush

-the guy wont make the team anyway

Who really cares about a backup QB anyway, if 18 goes down the season is over, period.

Hmm, sounds like the o-line is still getting trampled... I fear for the players when Manning officially returns. They are seriously going to have to work

The O line from every report i have heard has been horrid all of camp. I still don't see how this line will be any better then years past unless the 2 kids really start to turn the corner pretty quickly. Otherwise, it's basically the same O line minus Charlie Johnson.

When the first real game gets here and the line is still getting demolished (which it hasnt been all the time) then Ill worry.

If you all want to worry about guys who have only been practicing together for a week, fine, but its a waste of energy.

They will be fine. Castonzo was having good luck against Mathis, Hughes and even Freeneys bull rush according to more than one report I read. Ijilana was doing ok against Hughes.

Did they win every battle? No, but they shouldnt be expected to be winning them all right now, they are ROOKIES going against multiple pro-bowlers.

If they were even good half the time Id worry....about Freeney and Mathis.

They have 4 weeks to pull it together and they will.

Once the line solidifies into an actual 1st group and the guys get to work together with each other and only those 1st group guys, they will be fine.

Get Castonzo, DeVan, Saturday, Diem and Ijilana in there as the 1st and lets see how often it gets destroyed...Id bet not much...

Navis wont make the team for sure. Happy that our defense did good today.

Delone Carter will be starter at the end of the season was my first bold prediction when he was drafted. He is going to be a great player if healthy.
