Broncos: Short week away is going to hurt us with the various issues we have on the team currently.

Jax: Jax are just better.

Titans: I don't feel the Commanders are good enough to compete here.

Vikings: Vikings are much better.

Eagles: Eagles are HOTT right now.

Broncos - I hope the little bit of flashes of offense they actually drummed up last week won't last into this week.

Jags - will they learn to win the close games, that will be the true test as the season goes on and other teams start playing desperate for their playoff lives, it is still a young QB learning to win

Titans - they are seasoned and tested, their coach will have them playing hard till the end

Vikings - like the Packers, we seem to have their number for whatever reason, very much like good things happen for us when we play the Chiefs, lol :)

Eagles - we have not had good luck with them, whether it was Austin Collie getting concussed in 2010 or Sproles beating us in 2014 or losing with Brissett in 2018 in another close game, it has been 16 years (since 2006) since we beat them and I don't anticipate that changing

One week at a time, that is all we can do.

Took broncos, Jags, titans, bears, cards.

Picked bears because the vikes are a bit like the colts and shy away from prosperity and eagles/card game a toss up for me..eagles probably better but due to lose lol.

FUN POLL

I.wanted to.vote again for Reich to be fired but sadly  @EastStreet didn't provide that option in this poll..:funny:

Glad you enjoy!

I was bad last week. I know I should have voted Denver, but I hate voting against team (officially lol).

I see us losing this one. Too many injuries, too many issues. It's a short week and we're flying into Denver with not a lot of time to acclimate to the altitude difference, and that's the least of our worries!

I see us losing too, but still voted Indy lol...

Still hoping we change the script, and perhaps we will given JT is out.

Indy going to shock the world! lol...

    • It says "fully guarantees on 3/17/23"   Right now the Colts are already out $18M ($12M of his 2023 base and $6M in restructure bonus). He has to be on the roster past 3/17/23 to get the additional $7M in base + a $10M roster bonus.   Basically, he's an $18M dead cap hit right now, with $17M in savings. If he's here past the 3/17/23 date, then it's $35M. Which is why he won't be here.   If they designate him a post-June 1 cut, I think they can split up the $6M restructure bonus, but not the $12M base.
    • Nice that someone actually put this together. We’ve been talking a lot about how the Colts getting a higher draft pick isn’t just about them losing out, but these other teams need to win a couple games.   I have us getting to 5 wins because we can beat the Texans in the season finale, but we’ll lose everything else.   I think we can get as high as Greenbay’s pick. Things are starting to click with their WR’s and Rodgers, so they can rattle off another 3 wins I think.
    • I got off work at 3, went home and watched the last half hour or so of that nerve-racking game! It was 1-0 us and Iran was flopping all over like NBA players trying to draw fouls, and get free kicks and it seemed like forever knowing that just 1 goal by them would've eliminated us after our 2nd goal was disallowed due to the offsides call.
    • How in the world did we beat the Chiefs!?!
    • And this is me at their current state….   My story….    Before becoming a Colts fan in the early 90’s, I spent the first half of my life in Texas. I was a Cowboys fan only because you had to be if you lived in Texas, that or an Oilers fan(yeah I’m that old, lol.) Cowboys were also very good at that time. When I moved to Indiana, it was my firm belief that if you’re lucky enough to have an NFL football team in your state then you should be a fan of that team first and foremost, so that’s when my Colts fandom began. I also shared a very similar last name with a former player from that era, RIP, and was always asked if we were related(not spelled the same), I’ll give a like to first person who can figure out the player.    My late father in law was a HUGE Colts fan and got me hooked, it was so fun watching games with him.  Living in the Lafayette area I became a fan of Purdue sports as well, especially during the Drew Brees era. After he was drafted by the Chargers I remember going to a family get together and watching Chargers vs Colts and feeling very conflicted, but I couldn’t root against Manning and the Colts, so Brees came second. That was an amazing game, and I remember it took my fandom to a whole other level. I have been to a few games a year ever since I can remember, and DO NOT miss a game in tv, if I’m unavailable it’s recorded and watched asap. I have even traveled to enemy territory several times to support my team, even drive through a blizzard one year to experience what would turn out to be Andrew Lucks last game as a Colt. I am absolutely a die hard fan, through thick and thin, even during the tough times, when I haven’t been as involved in here or am very critical of the current coach/qb, my blood continues to run blue and I will keep rooting for our beloved Colts. Better days are ahead, just have to persevere.
