He will not fire anyone until January. Never had. Has said he won’t everytime this type of thing happens. He believes that you can gain nothing by firing mid season. Says that is what his dad used to do and resulted in more bad than good

I’m not sure if this is gonna be a very good QB class,I’m not seeing it with Bryce Young or CJ Stroud. If Colts get a top 10 pick maybe defense or OT instead.

No, we need dynamic players, gotta go WR or TE if one is there

The Broncos are as bad as we are so I can see us having a chance thursday.

They're pretty bad yes but they have a good defense.  There's not a lot of teams I'd feel real confident facing with this team.  They are far too inconsistent.

The colts should just quit football and stick to social media content because atleast their good at that haha

On a serious note, Reich has to go. Here is his records vs the AFCS since he's been HC

2018- 4-2

2019- 3-3

2020- 3-3

2021- 3-3

2022- 0-2-1 (currently)

How do you one winning season against the one of the worst divisions since you've been HC with zero division titles? Imo it's inexcusable

Yikes.....

The "experts" see this upcoming QB class as VERY strong

Think it’s time for a closed door meeting with the owner. Just lay it out there that jobs are on the line. Ask why we look like such a different team in the 2nd half of games, and why we look so flat to start. Why did we sink so much money into an O line that can’t block and why did we trade for a QB that can’t hold on to the freaking ball.

The good news is that we play in 4 1/2 days.

We will find out a lot then.

If we end up 1-3-1, we can officially put a sock in the season.

If we win, we have to keep hopes high for the offense to finally put together a worthwhile game. Maybe Reich will stop running out of the shotgun 40% of the game.

I’ll take the firing option Reich is who he is.

If I was Irsay, there’d be no meeting. It’d be me outside Reich’s office, standing with security holding the boxes of your office crap by the time you got out of the locker room. Then having him escorted out

The season is toast. We’re dead last in the division, back 3 games, no way we’re gonna even think about getting to the playoffs. Next week when we lose , we’ll be too far out for even a remote chance of sniffing the playoffs.

We're not dead last in the division, though, we may just be dead.

We are half a game out of first in 3rd actually. We are fortunate the division is so bad but you are stay in division assigned. Jags had a nice start then allowed 29 straight points and showed more of what most figured they were. Tenn wasnt very good today we out gained them but quite a bit just shot ourselves in the foot with turnovers. Houston showed some life but lost and are 1 of 2 winless teams. Division isnt going to be pretty but someone will win it.

Your offensive line is offensive. You lost another game…at home. I agree with what is being said on the Fan Forum because we, um , they are smart people and they don’t like losing!”

What do you have to say for yourself?

Coach Reich: …PARLAY?!

Why do you go for a FG with 2+ minutes to go when you're down 7? I know it was 4th and forever, but even if we make the 57-yard FG we still need a TD to win. The only play there is a Hail Mary hoping you pick up the 1st down. A long shot but so was the FG and it was basically worthless either way. Just a crap coaching decision. But Reich didn't lose this game. We lost by 7 and Ryan gave TN 14 points on short fields with his turnovers. Wentz wouldn't have been any worse.

It's a gift! It takes real talent to be this bad.

    • All good stuff in your post there. Without cherry picking contracts, can you list two or three veteran comps for Pittman?
    • How many PEDs are on the "banned" list?
    • Do you agree that yards/catch (and even yards/target) is a stat that should be accompanied by a lot of context? For example, what's the difference between MPJ's stats in 2021 vs 2023? Isn't it the state of the offense, and the quality of the QBing?   Speaking of context, to the red bolded, Pittman is #2 in total targets, #5 in target share, and #83 in average target distance (all per playerprofiler). Doesn't that speak to his usage and role in a limited passing offense?   Wherever you land on any of that, what I think is important is to determine whether Pittman's production (total, and average) speaks more to the circumstances, or to his ability. And I think there's a lot of grey area in there, but the "really BAD" number you're hanging on to speaks more to the circumstances, IMO.
    • First off, my opinon of Pittman is based on what we have seen from him so far and I recognize he hasn't had stable QB play or even good QB play for most of his career. That said there are just several stats that stick out as non-WR1 stats (or whatever we should call it).   I mean, Pittman's call sign is a hitch route short of the sticks. That's not really a big boy play in my opinion even if Pittman gets good mileage out of it. Pittman's ADOT (Average depth of target) is 8.1 this season - his career average is 8.6.    It's also something as simple as TDs. Pittman has 15 TOTAL in his career (4 this season). That doesn't really mark him out as a huge threat.    Then there's something like his ability to create from nothing. Pittman has forced 4 missed tackles this season. 24 Total in his career. He gets the ball, then runs in free space and gets tackled. He doesn't make defenders miss.   Seasonal ADOT, TDs and Missed tackles forced for a bunch of other guys this season:   Stephon Diggs: ADOT 10.3 -- TDs 8 -- MTF 19 DJ Moore: ADOT 11.8 -- TDs 6 -- MTF 15 Ja'Marr Chase: ADOT 9.0 -- TDs 7 -- MTF 16 CeeDee Lamb: ADOT 11.1 -- TDs 7 -- MTF 13 Amon-Ra St. Brown: ADOT 6 -- TDs 7.9 -- MTF 11 Davante Adams: ADOT 11.8 -- TDs 4 -- MTF 5 Keenan Allen: ADOT 9.8 -- TDs 7 -- MTF 7 Puka Nacua: ADOT 9.5 -- TDs 4 -- MTF 8 AJ Brown: ADOT 12.4 -- TDs 7 -- MTF 17 DeVonta Smith: ADOT 12.6 -- TDs 6 -- MTF 6 Josh Downs: ADOT 7.3 -- TDs 2 -- MTF 6 Alec Pierce: ADOT 15.4 -- TDs 1 -- MTF 1   These are just guys I thought of and not picked for any specific reason. He's comparable to Nacua and Keenan Allen, but doesn't compare favorably to them.   I'm not bashing Pittman here. I think he's a great player and I think he can be even better when supported by a guy who the defense need to allocate extra attention to. But we need a playmaker. The guy who can create when there's nothing to find.
