Harold landry tears acl

Kinda hilarious at all the people in the comments trying to be PC with the injury. As a human for him, it sucks. However, it's going to always happen. Every year. That's a fact, not an opinion. It already happened twice to us with Ogletree and Sanchez. I don't feel bad for the Titans and their fans at all. The only one I feel bad for is Landry from a human perspective.

As for beating them at full strength. I really don't care. ACL tears are generally random. I'll win anyway I can here with any advantage I can get that was lucky. We always are injury-prone and are close to the top on injuries. Don't feel bad that it happened to someone else. Let them get a little unlucky. Doesn't have to be us all the time.

So you think them all disingenuous?

I think people generally want to have a certain image where they don't appear heartless and want to appear to care about the player that was hurt, although they will never know or meet said player. The honest truth is that players will always have season ending injuries every year, and any injury that isn't on the Colts will benefit us, whether we face them or not. In this case, Landry is in our division, and it's hugely beneficial to us from a football standpoint that it weakens our biggest division rival.

Sucks for him solely as a human being, but those are the risks in football and it happens every year. People don't need to be PC to protect their image as this particular injury benefits the Colts especially, and there's no difference whether we face them at full strength or not as every team has injuries anyway every year.

Sure it helps the Colts but it really sucks for an up and coming star.    Sucks for the Titans obviously.

I'm happy the Colts road got a little easier.  The Titans are my second favorite team in the division so it sucks a little for that.

The injury made my day and made me feel more optimistic going into this upcoming season.

We have our share every year, so does every other team.

Sucks for HL as a human being; otherwise, I couldn't care less when it comes to football as it's not an injury to one of us.

Hate this for Landry and hope he has a smooth recovery.

That said, I doubt Titans fans are too upset when they don’t have to play us at full strength so I’m not going to be too upset about that either. Injuries are a part of the game.

I know, posters/people are funny at times. I have been chatting on football threads for almost 15 seasons when you factor in my ESPN days so I know how people are as a whole. While most fans with any heart don't want to see a key injury to a rival, they are doing this behind close doors Homer Simpson Dancing GIF- one is lying if you tell me you think otherwise. Do I want I see anyone get injured = NO, but if Henry got injured against us in a key game and we won because of it, I would not cry. Believe me, if Taylor was killing the Titans and then he went down, Titans fans would be doing this Episode 5 Dancing GIF by UFC- because they know their chances just became better for them to win. I am just speaking the truth.

Imagine playing the Bucs in the SB and Tom Brady got injured in the 2nd QTR and Blaine Gabbert had to come in, not 1 person in here would feel bad. So all this I feel bad for so and so is hilarious when it comes down to I want to beat them at full strength. That is comical. I just want to win, no other fan base will feel bad for us if Matt Ryan or Taylor get injured, if you think otherwise you are naive.

There are certainly some * in the league that I wouldn’t mind one bit if they get hurt.

I understand what you are saying. If Landry had retired, or had been traded out of the division, the same advantage would be held by those moves. We can be sad for the player, but not care if it hurts the Titans.

Mike Vrabel is still a good coach, they still have a very good OL and RB, and they still have a good D overall and the Giants' O still has a lot to show us over 60 minutes of a game the recent years. However, I will take every advantage I can get vs the Titans when we play them so that we can taste what it is to win the division after so many years.

Ever since Reggie Wayne trolled Titans fans at the 2019 draft (following them going to the AFCCG), all they have done under Mike Vrabel is win the division twice. Let us get the job done of winning the division first, that is what I am looking forward to most this year.
