My annual NFL picks, just a tad early but not much. If something changes within the next week I can alter my predictions.

I thought the total attempts for a whole year was such a low number for throws outside the numbers. So, summing all throws outside the numbers for more than 10 yards, only 24 out of 285 pass attempts, 6 completions last year... Is that normal or less attempts than other QBs in college? I'd like to see how that looks in comparison to other QBs, just to see how often college offenses target far outside the hash marks -
True but it was more being used to counter the point that was being made on the tweet and the overall point I have been making with Chloe. That passing wise he was very similar in 2021 and 2022 and that the biggest difference is in 2022 he played more competitive teams than 2021. And where the pre-foot injury teams he played were mostly fluff games that college teams schedule because they are guaranteed wins and stat padding.

CFB counts sack yardage as negative rushing yards. That raw rushing number needs a lot of context before we can assign any importance to it.

This is good stuff. In watching Levis, I think there are some examples where there's a protection bust, or a blocker gets beat immediately, and it's hard to put that on the QB without knowing how involved he is with protection calls. But there are clearly examples where he should see a free rusher, doesn't, and gets in trouble. And at times there's a mix of both. Kurt Warner has a play at the beginning of his part 2 video where I think the protection fails, but also think Levis should have recognized it. And in general, if the QB recognizes pressure and has a plan, he can make up for a lot of bad protection. Levis doesn't really do that. Regarding Bryce Young, that's an interesting viewpoint. I definitely think he'll take himself into pressure at times, but I don't think I ever got the sense he was doing so frequently. Also important to note that stats like these are entirely subjective. If you don't know the protection protocol, I don't know how you can even start to compile this kind of info. And it's definitely something where I think one person might see it very differently from the next person.

Also before his foot injury in 2022 he had -49 yards rushing and two rushing tds. only two games with positive rushing both under 10 yards before the injury
