@NewColtsFanI put a lot thought into this, I have studied each teams rosters and seen how the pre-season has gone. I may be too much of Homer =homer simpson hello GIF by saying Colts will make the AFC Title Game but I factored in the division we play in and all teams schedules. Thanks for the LIKE. My brain was mush after all the research I did to come up with these predictions. I may nail some and then again I may be wrong on some. I think Matt Ryan will at least get us the AFC South.

I had to dissect tiebreakers as well because many of these teams will end up 9-8/10-7. I think in the end it will be us vs them/them being Buffalo in the AFC. I think in the NFC Aaron is just due, I know Adams is gone but the Packers are the best team in the NFC with the best QB lmao , they just choke every year for no explained reason. I think that comes to an end.

It is all about 2022 for me. I am all in, I love our Colts roster. Matt Ryan is still a good QB/great leadership, we have the best RB in the league in Taylor, good O.Line, I think Pittman will give defenses many problems as well. Hines and Campbell both are so fast that they are 1 play game changers. Our defense is good, I am concerned about when Maniac will return as he creates a lot of turnovers. Having said that even without him we can maintain on opening day at Houston IMO. I have us going deep, lets do this!

Chris Canty has the 49ers making the SB, I don't see it, not in Trey Lance's 1st year as a full-time starter. I think Lance can be good but the 49ers not rolling with Jimmy G is going to back fire on them. Jimmy G just knows how to win close games, a quality many QB's don't have. I have them at 9-8 which is respectable but missing the playoffs. Some of my picks could change depending where Jimmy G actually goes?? Browns were a tough prediction pick as I have them at 7-10, they have a good roster and JB is average but just not a long time quality starter. JB can get you 2 or 3 wins in a pinch but that schedule is brutal from week 5-11 before Watson comes back.

I really like the Raiders but unfortunately I have them missing the playoffs at 10-7, it is the division they play in. I guess my only big bold predictions are the Colts making the AFC Title Game and Mike Tomlin having his 1st losing season in his career at 8-9. The Packers winning the NFC isn't bold at all, they have the QB and team to do it, they have just choked in prior years.

Here is a fun fact, only 3 QB's that are playing currently have had at least 2 seasons of winning 13 games or more in a regular season:

Tom Brady

Aaron Rodgers

Matt Ryan - Matt did it in 2010 and 2012, Falcons went 13-3 in both those years. The year Matt won MVP = 2016, they only won 11 but had HFA and went to the SB.

Mahomes hasn't even accomplished 2 seasons of winning 13 or more and he's been great for 4 years. Russell Wilson only has done it once.

Since I am rolling with the Bills to win it all, I have to say Josh Allen will win MVP and SB MVP if I had to predict. Allen is primed and ready IMO. Man the Bucs just lost another O.Lineman and for the season. Guard Aaron Stinnie is lost for the season and their Center, Jensen is out until at least November. Brady better have that quick release in super form!

Buffalo looks brutal on both sides. Barring injuries they could go undefeated. The Buffalo fans deserve a SB trophy (not that Indy fans don't but they have one).

Yeah Buffalo looks awesome, what is funny is we blew them out last year at Buffalo with Wentz at QB. They played a bad game though and are a loaded team. I have us meeting them in the AFC Finals because I think Matt Ryan is better than Wentz and we proved last year we could beat teams like Buffalo and the Pats. I think we get back to beating up on Tennessee and win at Jacks finally. Chiefs and Chargers are going to be monsters too. Cincy is interesting, they had a nice run last year but doing that 2 years in a row is a huge task.

    • Our defense will never be GREAT as long as we play * defense by having corners 10 yards off the ball on 3rd and 3. And an unbelievable unwillingness to blitz more than 4 times a game. And also, it doesn't matter who is in the secondary if the front seven can't stop the run(we can) and get to the passer(we did ok getting to the passer, but we need more blitzing from lb'ers). Our first pick should be an offensive lineman like Fuaga, Powers-Johnson, or Barton. Then target a receiver like Polk, Pearsall, Washington, Corley, or Roman Wilson in the second or third rounds. As much as I would like to get Bowers I just don't see it happening. And we need a very good linebacker to go along with Speed and Franklin.
    • Yeah, could very well be. I think I remember Ballard said he did it to have more flexibility when asked. if it is Paye, I would rather see him play out the year before extending.
    • The idea of DeJean going in the late first round is due to his instincts and overall very competent play in nearly all aspects of DB play.  Cover 3 FS is more valuable, IMO, than a cover 2 FS.   Contrast DeJean's overall RAS and talents with Hooker, who was only good at being a single high deep guy...especially his rookie year where he picked off bad QBs for a while...and DeJean at 22 or later with a 3rd round pick gathered from a trade down is a much better decision than Hooker was at 15.   BTW, Blackmon had the same ACL injury as Hooker and did well as an overall S as a rookie, but wasn't a single high speed guy, and is probably still a better overall S now than Hooker is in DAL...both having the exact same injury years ago.
    • To the bolded, I don't constantly hear that. I see people say it on the Internet. It was a big thing when we were looking for a HC, how candidates would be scared off because of how the Reich/Saturday thing went, Irsay's meddling, etc. One specific theory was Sirianni would tell Steichen not to take the Colts job. We see how that went.   Does Irsay's history negatively impact the team? I'd like to know if there's any examples where you think it has.
    • Some are not understanding this. Have a feeling there will be an upset group after Thursday night. Give AR every opportunity to succeed by surrounding him with weapons. If Pittman was to miss a few weeks, it would be bad. Tbh we should draft offense the 1st and 2nd rounds. Sign a Simmons and a vet corner.
