Kentucky had a colts connection on their staff so I am sure they were able to get info pretty easy. -

And that's YOUR assumption and subjective take. -
Tom House goes from the ground up. But I don't know if his program has a lot of value for pocket presence. I agree that there's nothing really wrong with Richardson's throwing motion, especially upper body. But personally, when I talk about throwing mechanics, that includes footwork.

I agree. Levis and Stroud both were close. And I'm sure we were already planning on a rookie QB for '23 last year when we picked up Matt Ryan. The circumstances just pushed everything up by a year in terms of the rookie starting. I imagine the original plan was to draft a rookie QB this year, have him sit under Ryan for the '23 season, and then have Ryan retire in '24 and have the kid start similar to Mahomes and Smith with the Chiefs. TLDR: The Colts have been scouting these guys for probably a long time. Longer than some possibly realize. -

This is exactly right. I think it kind of goes back to Ballard saying you just have to keep taking a swing. It didn’t stop chiefs or bills from finding a upgrade even though they still made playoffs.
