Aww this makes sense why Coutee had some first team reps. He is looking good. I still think he makes the team.

They were willing to lose glow and Reed they believed in Pinter so much.

Still got preseason games but his chances of making it looks better.

I could see them taking him over Patmon if they only keep 5. Patmon had a good day today too though. I still think they will keep 6.

I wonder how much Foles will play Saturday. I imagine since he is a vet he won’t play much. We will probably have up watch Sam and Jack for most of the game. Maybe Ryan plays a tiny bit Saturday. Reich said the lions game starters will play less because there are joint practices and he feels that is good work. I do think we are going to see starters play some this preseason. Except maybe JT. Won’t shock me if he doesn’t play at all.

Pretty much no reason to give a ball carrier you are going to ride any preseason action, other than to work on the passing game, but I don't think we will see him till Houston.

I'm not high on Coutee.  I would rather have Patmon than Coutee.

I think some Colts fans may be higher on him because his 2 best career games were against the Colts.

While true,  his best games were against us. I think some people are "high" on Coutee, because he has been doing a good job almost daily in camp so far. I personally would rather Patmon as well. Slot guy(Coutee) would be nice though, with Campbell injury concerns.(staying healthy)

High is a relative term though, as we are talking about for a #5/#6 WR spot. Don't think anyone is really high on him, just acknowledging his performance so far. That and team makeup(another slot option, experienced WR depth)

I think there is room though, for 6 WR, 4 TE, 3 RB, 2 QBs and 9/10 OL

Ryan can throw it on a rope down the sideline, looks beautiful, should do it more often, IMO.

Is it just me or whenever our QBs throw underthrown floaters, our guys don't fight for it nearly as much down the middle - Ravens game Philip Rivers floater picked off by Marcus Peters, Bucs game Wentz floater for Pittman picked off by Antoine Winfield Jr. etc., they just need to scrap those floaters from the playbook and go for the rope down the sideline unless the guy is running wide open with no chance for any defensive back to close in where the floater has a chance. I am talking this ball picked off by Flowers.

Maybe in the past, but I can tell you a lot of guys made those types of catches last Sat. when I was there and I've seen some other examples from camp on these vids people are posting.

Seems like there have been a ton of underthrown balls though.  Some maybe by design, but certainly not all.

I don't feel like a superhero, but I really appreciate him giving us Indiana teachers a shoutout! High character guy for sure!

Teachers are superheros :)  I'm a district technical specialist with a school district south of Indy.  I see it daily.

I would of thought they would of just loved him up with the ones and given Pryor some snaps with the twos. But I guess it doesn’t matter either way.

They probably want Pryor jelling with the ones so he needs as many reps as he can get. Also this has been a very boring camp (in a good way) if you have the rookie take snaps with the ones that probably creates a whose the starting tackle story for the media that the Colts don’t want.

I am not high on him either but there is no denying he’s winning the performance battle so far.  We shall see what happens the rest of camp and more importantly the pre-season games.

They'll keep five WR.  No room for more and they'll feel less need with four TEs and Hines primarily a.pass catcher....

This is what I am leaning towards. That is mainly because Hines. Then the question becomes is it Patmon or Coutee. If they want insurance for Campbell and Hines it will be Coutee. Pierce is kind of in the Pittman mold so would they keep Patmon? Both Coutee and Patmon are having good camps.

    • I'm not in Indiana, but I am so ready for the draft. I should have taken the day off.   I would be surprised to see that trade. The pats have said they have not received serious offers to trade back. But that would be great to see Marvin Harrison's son as a Colt.
    • Surprisingly in “twitter land” it’s picking up steam lol. It’s the Wild West in there right now. On the .0000001% chance it happens I feel the fanbase would still be split. Some furious over compensation. Some over the moon to get Marvin’s son in Indy.    As long as we don’t draft a OL in the first round I’ll be a happy camper. Hoping for Bowers, BTJ, Arnold in that order for who would (realistically) want.
    • There’s been a lot of comments made by Ballard lately that they are always planning a few years out, while the coach is pushing for players that can help now. So it’s a balance. He’s made comments that the goal is to protect and provide weapons for AR. The talent at the top of the draft seems like there could be a couple really good offensive lineman falling down to us, with a run on receivers and skill players. I don’t necessarily see that, I think there could be a run on qbs, tackles, and pass rushers with the obvious 3 receivers before we pick. That could potentially push all corners, as well as Bowers down to 15. But say, both corners and Bowers go top 15, who does that push out? Most likely a talented tackle. They can either trade back or take the highest rated player on the board, which would provide swing tackle depth, and a plan for if Smith is injured/isnt re-signed following 2025. Some are speculating it might be best to move Smith to guard in that scenario.
    • I don't believe this would ever happen as the price would be much too steep. The only way this is even a remote possibility is if the Pats do not like Maye or McCarthy . Then this would also need the QB needy teams to feel the same as NE . The value of Maye , if he's a franchise QB is multiple firsts. IMO , you can't give up that for a WR
