Riech 4th down calls and FG

Rewatching previous games and playoff games:

1-  No shame to take the points especially if you have a strong leg kicker. 

2  Allow Matt Ryan the option to run 4th down or go for FG. He is a veteran QB with business "cold ice"nerves and good intuition. 

3- I am betting on strong leg Verity, a Raven protected player last year. Justin Tucker (Raven kicker) vowed to his kicking. Watch Verity You Tube tape and you can see and hear the ball come off his leg. I am an ex soccer player and this kid has a leg. Blakenship is good but only with alot of effort to compensate the strength of his leg. At the end it effects accuracy.

Aspiring to be a defense and running team and crazily going for every fourth down doesn't always jive.  Some of Frank's 4th down calls feel panicked and unnecessary.

 His leg looked plenty strong at age SIXTEEN

I like Blankenship but I’ve always felt like there is a real kicker battle going on and wouldn’t be shocked if Verity wins the battle.

I hope they give Verity a real chance and not automatically give the job to Blankenship.

We could use a change at the PK position.
