2022 Colts Forum Elite League Season

@w87r and @Lucky Colts Fan finished in the Top 2 in the Joe's league last year. Who finished 3rd? Rightfully, they should get first dibs??

 

@Lucky Colts Fan - since you managed the Joe's league last year, do you remember the results? Does that make sense, @IndyD4U?

 

@Korey - hope you can reconsider your participation still.

makes perfect sense. The flip side is that it it is even fair to bump someone up and then hand them a team they didn’t have a hand in drafting. I feel that complicates the situation. We’ll get it sorted out. Thanks @chad72 for your input. Sure you don’t want commish duties back?

I think the chance to play in the Elite league would overshadow the factor of not having a hand in the roster they are inheriting. With good waiver wire moves, they can still finish in the Top 10 when it is all said and done to retain their standing in the Elite league, not that hard to do.

I don’t remember, and I can’t access the league now that I’m not in it. @PuntersArePeopleToo is the new commish and can probably look at last years results on the league site.

@Lucky Colts Fan and @w87r moved up into the elite league. We had two player decide not to return so nobody was demoted to Joe’s.

That 1st place team looks pretty good. Both times.

I think we give this until Wednesday evening and then supplant @buccolts as the new manager. That will leave a vacant spot in Joes but we have someone interested in joining a league @IndyEric07

So, @IndyD4U - who is killing it with Josh Allen, Amon Ra Brown etc. in the league. I always doubled down with the Mahomes / Chiefs RB combo, always worked for me till last year when Mahomes went through a major funk, did anyone do that this year?

We've wrapped up another great year in the Elite League! Results are posted below. Just a couple things that I wanted to say regarding the year. Thanks for keeping rosters updated and playing hard through the year. What makes this league so great is the level of competition each and every year. The year didn't end like we had hoped with Damar's situation, but you all showed how awesome you are and what really matters. I appreciate everyone understanding.

 

By rule, @Kangaroo and @Statiik82 should move down to Joe's. However, there has been some indication that other manager's may not return. As next year gets closer, we will determine how it's going to shake out.

Wow, @w87r Congrats!!! 

 

@Virtuoso80 moved over from the Joe's league and won twice in the last 5 years (2018 and 2021). @Statiik82 won once (2019) and now @w87r in 2022 with me, the former commish winning in 2020.  

 

Joe's league is just an entry point, fellas, and the above just shows you that once you are in, anything can happen. 

 

Great job @IndyD4U on being commish and seeing through another great season in the Elite League. I didn't miss fantasy one bit, the drama, the ups and downs, the time commitment, watching mainly Colts games and a few key games, and this led to a happy wife, happy life.

@IndyD4U is the commish. I am not in the league anymore, I was "former" commish before I quit.

I won't be back next season--our time zone differences make it too difficult to set weekly rosters (US is about 14hrs behind Aus)
