It's not unreasonable or surprising for fans to be nervous, skeptical and quick to be concerned about this group of wide receivers. After Pittman, the Colts have a rookie who is a bit of a project, Campbell (34 receptions in 3 seasons), Dulin (18 receptions in 3 seasons), and Patmon (2 receptions in 2 seasons). Is there a less accomplished wide receiver room in the NFL? When have the Colts ever had so little proven production and at WR heading into a season? Wouldn't the preseason be a good time to try to get these guys going rather than hoping the passing game can just flip a switch and take off when the real games begin? -
I was a bit skeptical of Burrow too. In a word: UNFOUNDED. That dude was really good from the first snap he took.
