Here are my AFC playoff teams as of May 13th, 2022

Been up half the night studying every teams schedule and I come up with this:

AFC Division winners

East - Bills = 12-5 (#1 seed)

West - Chiefs = 11-6 (#2 seed based on tiebreakers, no Hill but still enough with Mahomes)

South - Colts = 11-6 (#3 seed, tiebreak over Cincy)

North - Bengals = 11-6 (#4 seed, wins the tiebreak over the Ravens)

Wild Cards

Broncos = 11-6 (#5 seed based on tiebreakers)

Chargers = 11-6 (#6 seed based on tiebreakers)

Ravens = 11-6 (#7 seed based on tiebreakers)

Titans will miss the playoffs at 11-6, I see the Browns going 10-7 but missing the playoffs. I have a feeling Watson will be suspended for at least 4 games is why. Patriots will be 10-7 like last year and will miss the playoffs IMO. AFC is deep so this is guess work but fun to do. I have 8 freakin teams winning 11 games or more, 3 others winning 10 because I have the Raiders winning 10 too. The AFC is LOADED! Dolphins may even go 9-8 again lmao . The poor Steelers will go 8-9 IMO and I love it  haha . Bad teams will be the Texans at 3-14, Jets at 4-13 which will even out the AFC a little. Jags I have at 8-9, much improved.

The NFC will have a bunch of suck teams, it will come down to 3 teams in that conference = Rams, Packers, and Bucs. 3 very good teams but outside of that the NFC will have some bad teams record wise which will even out the league. I can see teams like the Falcons, Giants, Bears, Lions, Panthers, Seahawks, winning only 3 or 4 games. That is a lot of bad teams.

In my scenario we would play the Chargers at LOS in the Wild Card Round to start.

Denver will be interesting. If Wilson can play like he did 2 or 3 years ago then I can see them winning that division. Chargers are damn good too. I still have KC winning the West but without Hill it will be really close.

Just to feed off of the NFC side I think both the Saints, Cowboys, and Eagles have a good year. Saints are loaded and with a healthy roster they are pretty solid.

I just can't put the Saints or Cowboys on the Rams, Bucs, or Packers level. I know the Saints have beat the Bucs a few times lately but when it really counts, I would take the Bucs over them.

Yeah. It's going to be interesting and honestly good for us in the long run for the season. I almost put the Chiefs, but they've won the division for 6 straight years. It's time for Denver to step up and get the division again. My hope is that the entire division beats each other up to the point that we are able to get the #1 seed by going 12-5.

I just remembered Sean Peyton left as well. That might be a good thing for them though haha

If the Bills and Chefs (ha) meet in the championship game again, they should just let them play another game and whoever wins, just give them the SB trophy.

Chargers always get offseason hype.

Matt Ryan is no guarantee cure all at the QB position for the Colts.

Every year there is a team no one thinks will make the playoffs or is going to be any good. The Bengals did it last year. Who's the team this year? The Jets possibly?

That would be bad news for the saints.

Sadly I agree. He is in my Elite 8 of QB's all-time. I have Tom, Montana, Peyton, Unitas, Elway, Rodgers, and then Drew, Marino really should be 8th but no rings bothers me so Favre probably deserves that spot or even Otto Graham. It is a short list. Don't give me Bradshaw, yeah helped win 4 SB's but that team was ridiculously stacked. Trent Dilfer may have 2 SB's on that team. Look at Bradshaw's stats, they were average at best. I know you loved Bert Jones like I did Luck but they just don't have the resume so I try not to be bias when I do lists.
