Shaweet! I was picked to hang out with the number one draft pick.. wonder what i should ask Luck.... suggestions...???

Congratulations, dude!!!

Ask him if he thinks he will be able to spend enough time with the playbook despite his Stanford commitments he need to get done? I am sure they will give him the playbook as soon as he is drafted, within a few days.

I would ask him to sign my #18 jersey.

Joking.....

Seriously, I wouldn't ask him anything. I would tell him how blessed our team is to have him. I'm sure he's probably sick of being asked questions and would likely try to avoid people that bother him with such.

Yep, this.

Try to let him know that the fanbase fully supports him, there's no hard feelings about being the man to replace Peyton, and we're fully ready to embrace him as our new main man.

Tell him to ignore the doubters and be himself.

Ask him what sort of books/movies he likes if you want something loose to speak about.

Ask him if he is anticipating playing against any particular team on the schedule next year.

Just keep asking him about his muscles, or talk about nothing but cats, and see if he gets uncomfortable then report back your findings.

Lots of good ideas! Im going to try and fit as many in as i can :)

 seeing these two posts come up consecutively is hilarious.

Yes, I love cats myself. Please ask him as many cat related questions as possible, my wife and I are eagerly awaiting further information.

OH, and what's his favorite cheese.

Most of our cats love cheese, so this is actually a related topic.

You know, I was originally going to suggest a lot of questions related to Idaho - as in "Have you ever been to Idaho, are you ever planning to come to Idaho, if you aren't planning on coming to Idaho, is there anyplace NEAR Idaho that you might be planning on coming to" - but than I realized that while your avatar is identical to the one previously used by "Fan of the MANning" (AKA "NumberOneColtsFanInIdaho"), things change quickly around here. Very confusing sometimes.

The actual problem is that I can't think of any legitimate questions that he would ever consider giving a legitimate answer to. it probably doesn't, just have fun.

Some questions that he MIGHT answer:

"Are any family or friends coming with him to Indy to help him out as he makes this difficult transition?".

"Does he prefer that fans refer to him as Andrew, Andy or something else?"

"What is the origin of his family name (more rudely - "what is his ethnic background")?"

"Was he a student at the Manning Passing Academy before he was an instructor? If so, was it materially different information than he had been taught in school?"

"Is his knee brace just precautionary, or did he have a prior injury ?"

"Does he intend to utilize his college degree when his career is over, and if his career lasts as long as we all hope, what can he do in the meantime to keep his knowledge and skills current".

Sweet! Congratulations man, tell him if he needs a spare room he can sleep on the futon in the den for awhile at my house. In return he will simply have to autograph every ball, picture, card or piece of memorabilia I bring to him so I can turn around and sell it on Ebay.

: haha: ball, picture, card - uh - newspaper, pizza box, plate, floor tile, socks..............

Then his throwing hand will swell up to the size of a grapefruit, his back will go out from the futon, and his career will be over before it starts.

I like this actually. We know Griffin only gets called "RG3" in real life when people are making fun of him, I want to know what Luck thinks :D

haha I could picture it now on EBay "You are bidding on a 100% authentic Domino's pizza box officially signed by Andrew Luck."

Yeah my futon would probably ruin his back and his hands would probably be mangled by all the autographs. :(

    • I wonder if Rock might be held out of this game with his ankle and the bad weather. Don’t be surprised if TY is held out too with that quad.
    • Campbell said he’ll vlog his recovery probably get more info than the Colts who continue to be vague lol.
    • East and I used to talk about this.  It was difficult to see what the club had in mind with their drafts.     I thought and still think that they would love to be an aggressive C2 type of team or a Tampa base type.  Drafting Rock seemed like evidence of this.  He seems like a hard C2 corner who is going to help close down the EDGE and beat up on releasing WRs.     But then we had just gotten Hooker who was the classic single high C3, C1 centerfielder, So WTPH?  We drafted Leonard who obviously wasn't and is probably never going to be a a great coverage LB.  And we've never even tried to get after a coverage LB as far as I can tell.     Then we get Blackmon which would make one think that we were going to have him come up and hit, but then we were dropping Hooker before the Achilles, because he was a budding star in the single high and then had a mediocre year in more of a 2 high scheme, then improved and we decided we didn't want him.   But overdrafts at DE, have really ruined any plans.  Hopefully Dayo and Paye pan out and we get the Front 4 pressure the D desperately needs. I am not convinced they will.  I like Paye but the ole Undeveloped pass rusher thing hasn't been great lately.    It's pretty hard to figure out, and I think we are a mess on D.
    • Can’t blame the general manager when there aren’t quality backups on the team? Can’t blame the head coach for poor play calling and game management? Are you upset that people aren’t happy the Colts are terrible this year and weren’t prepared to play a long season.   The Ravens had a ton of injuries (a couple season ending) to start the year and they are playing well. It’s Ballard’s fault for not having quality backups pieces (and the Colts DO NOT have many) and it’s Reichs fault for allowing the Colts to lose these “winnable games” So yes, it is their fault.   Also, Colts are middle to high in the league for injuries every year, sometimes it’s not “unlucky” sometimes it the way training staff and medical staff handle the players.
    • The 53 man roster was extended when the 10-man PS became 16.    But, the NFL needs to do away with trimming the 53 to 46/47 on game day.   This has never been a good idea.    Ive read in the past that the weaker franchises are in favor of this rule as they think it helps them be more competitive with the better run franchises.    It’s time to man-up and play all your players.
