Call GB about Rodgers. If he’s available make the move

Exactly. If he wants out, we do have a potential selling point of he would be playing 8+ games in indoor conditions which has to be appealing as he gets older. Not a lot of other potential destinations can offer that.

He did just enough to NOT cost his team the game is about all.

Rodgers didn’t cost his team, drove them down for 13 points for a FG to be blocked and his team giving up a TD, reminding me of the special teams Peyton had to carry constantly

Peyton’s last game in Indy was a 53 yard KR by Cromartie and a timeout by Caldwell. QBs get all credit and all blame

I don’t want Rodgers. He looked aloof and disinterested tonight. I want to stick with Wentz unless it’s a long term solution we get in the draft.

So do you think that in the minds of the voters this changes some votes away from Rodgers for MVP? I would have to think so…

I’m leaning towards Brady, what he’s doing at his age is nothing short of remarkable.

Everyone is right though Rodgers has 8 done games and the rest of the afc south games are usually in great weather. Colts are usually guaranteed 11 good weather games. I sm just not in the mood to give up more picks for a 38 year old QB who is ready to retire. Colts should only be giving up picks now for the long term solution. Evan getting Rodgers doesn’t fix that and doesn’t stop the QB hamster wheel.

He definitely wouldn't want to end his career like this - if he had won the Superbowl I could see him walking away but not on this sour note!

I kind of see it as the opposite… that the frustration over this WOULD make him leave. He already seemed like he was pretty annoyed with not making it all the way for so long to begin with. Last offseason he basically looked like he was in retirement mode. This game might make him say “Oh to flubbersticks with this!”

Hmmm…a division like the NFC East would be easy to win of all divisions.

If I’m the Eagles I’d give up all 3 first rounders for Rodgers and Adams.

If Rogers doesn't retire and moves on from green bay he comes to the AFC......My guess's would be Steelers.... Broncos....I wouldn't rule out the Titans after today's loss but my money would be Steelers.

The reality is QBs like Mahomes, Manning, Brady or Rodgers dont come around that often. While its sounds good to draft one, it is very difficult to execute. Just look at how many #1 overall picks at the QB position dont amount to anything.

This team has pieces to win now. Even getting Rodgers for 2-3 years gives as good of a chance to win as we would ever have with anyone else.

Keep in mind the Broncos went to as many SBs in 4 years with later years Manning as he did in 14 years with the Colts.

It’s just dumb to give up more picks for a guy that might play one more year. Especially when this team has holes. We don’t even have a first round pick which means it would have to be a future one. Like ballard said you can’t keep recycling QB every year. Let’s get wentz more weapons  and see if OTA and a full camp make. difference. It would be a knee jerk reaction to give s up after one year when all that happened in camp. Let’s see what happens with him and Reich in year two. Now Reich has a entire year to really dig in on his weaknesses and build around his strengths.

    • It sucks Fries went down he was having an amazing season but this injury is Tucker’s chance to make something of it.  I thought he did well when he came in but the real test is going to come as teams get tape on him and figure out how to attack him.  Still I am hoping he does well.  Whoever posts here that is his uncle I think should be really proud tonight even if the game didn’t go the Colts way today.
    • I’d just settle for attacking rather than always playing reactive.  Both the Colts and Jags didn’t have much going on the ground today until late yet the Jags defense attacked the Colts receivers at all levels and it was causing fits for the Colts passing game until late.  Meanwhile Lawrence could have whatever he wanted whenever he wanted it.  This letting QBs have a career day vs your secondary every week is not sustainable.  Even Dungy’s teams, the kings of the Tampa 2 didn’t let teams do that to them.  They attacked at times and that’s what is missing from Bradley’s defense IMO.  Add in some awful tackling which has been an underrated story and guys constantly blowing assignments in the backend and the Colts defense is an oppressing offense’s dream.     You can’t change all the players in season.  Heck, with the new deals you might not be able to change them this off-season.  So that leaves the coaches.  What Bradley is doing is simply not working and not sustainable.  You are also starting to see the players look like they are quitting (I clearly have no clue if they are or not).  That’s why I think you have to make change.  No an in season change isn’t going to fix everything.  However, I don’t think you can keep trotting a coach out there whose defense gives up 300 yards passing every week and also 100 yards on the ground every week and is too stubborn to get away from a “do what we do” mentality.
    • There was a story when this turf was put in that it’s one of the better turfs out there and players like it.  Fans need to let go of this phantom idea that the turf is the cause of the injuries.  You could argue the two most serious injuries have been to Buckner and Fries and those both happened on natural grass.  Football is violent game.  Players get hurt regardless of the surface.
    • What did Matt Ryan say on air last year?  If you're a young or struggling QB, the Colt defense is exactly what you want to see coming to town.
