Fan of Other NFL Teams?

I lived in Arizona for several years and while I was out there I watched a lot of Cardinals games and basically adopted them as my NFC squad. At the time they had Edgerrin and Fitz so it was pretty easy for me to get into that team. I went to probably 5 games while I was out there. Always had a great time.

That being said since being back in Indy I find it hard to truly care about any other team. But I still cheer for the Cards whenever I get a chance to catch them on TV. And I would love to see a Colts-Cardinals SB one day.

Rams and Chiefs. My dad was from Missouri and he supported both teams. Rams with Kurt Warner, Torrey Holt, Marshall Faulk and Isaac Bruce. Chiefs with Trent Green, Tony Gonzalez, Priest Holmes and Donte "The Human Joystick" Hall.

I remain an avid fan of the 1972 - 1973 Super Bowl Champion Miami Dolphins and their coach Don Shula.

I was an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins from 1971 thru 1995.  The Colts were my "second favorite team" in that time frame.

Once Don Shula was forced to step away from the game - rather than fire some of his assistant coaches - the Colts became my favorite team.

At this point - I have been an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts for almost 30 years.

I really like the Kansas City Chiefs - and - occasionally will peek at the Miami Dolphins record.

I was a Bengals fan pre-colts days.  Still like to see them do well.

Having lived all over the place I was a big KC fan back in late 80s, early 90s and still like them.  Lived in Wichita KS then.  Now in the Pacific NW so I do root for Seattle.  They have been a fun team to watch in recent years - until this year.  They are playing ugly football at this point.

I am also a fan of any team that is playing the Pats or Cowboys.

    • That's where I'm at, just hoping that was the MAIN issue.   Braden regressed Kelly regressed Pryor fell off the earth Pinter didn't appear to improve   Hard to believe that all this, is just a coincidence? Here's to hoping.   Raimann, Nelson, Kelly, Norwell, Smith Freeland, Ekiyor, Pinter, Fries, Freeland   Seems like a pretty nice unit if so.   I like our young staff, son's of coaches. Time will tell but I am optimistic at this point.
    • This is where I don't know what to think. It's very possible that Strausser wasn't on the job in the last couple years, but the OL was still really good in 2019 and 2020, and they were good run blocking in 2021. So while it's likely that coaching played a big role in the regression, it's hard to pin the entire drop-off on the coaches. The Matt Pryor situation is shocking, he looked good in 2021 but was a mess last season, maybe due to body composition.   And the other part is that I don't think there's any evidence for us outsiders that Sparano is/will be a good OL coach. I like his pedigree and background, but it's his first time in this role. He might not be any good. Hopefully he's great...   Personnel-wise, I think we're probably okay, assuming everyone is reasonably healthy. Biggest questions are LT and RG, but Raimann came on as the season progressed, and I think Pinter has more than he showed in 2022. I'd like more competitive depth across the board, but we have a lot of young guys.    The unknowns with coaching are more of a concern for me than the personnel right now. And I guess it's pretty hard for good players to make up for bad coaching, especially at OL. All it takes is one mistake by one guy, and the entire OL fails.
    • A rare Miss by Howie Roseman taking Reagor a pick prior helped too.
    • So true on the Matt Taylor interview.   He failed.
    • The surgeries are a concern.   I think that the whole OL as a whole regression is much more telling.   Looking forward to seeing what Sparano does with the unit this week.
