I'm hoping they didn't participate just to be safe, not because they physically couldn't due to injury That was worded very poorly. I am hoping they are not participating so they do not make a small injury worse instead of not participating because of a major injury. Still sounds kind of funny to me...

That's what I'm thinking. We should have learned one thing from last season - always err to the cautious side.
