This is exactly what we wanted from Carson.  No hero ball, rely on the run game and just extend a drive when it counts.  
 

The run game allows those deep shots (in decent weather).  It’s great when we don’t even need them.

I was also glad to see Carson slide on that play instead of diving head first. I'm always afraid he's going to get hurt when he dives instead of slides.  Great play by Wentz tho.

That’s what the good side of Wentz’s never give up attitude gives you.  If that’s Rivers or Manning for example they just go down to avoid the big hit.  In fairness even if Manning or Rivers could duck that sack they couldn’t have run like Wentz did so going down would have been the right move for them.

2nd biggest play of the game was when Hines recovered his own fumble. Bills get that ball and then drive short yardage for a TD, entirely different game.

That was a great escape & run! As soon as he got the first down I was screaming "slide! slide!" at the TV, and to my surprise he did. Great play!

I've been talking to my bills co worker all week about this game. I told him we'd see a Carson great escape moment. He does this quite a bit!

Best part of this for me was that the main guy he shedded was #97. Same player who went low on him and got the roughing call. Bit of a dirty play if you ask me. Was nice to see Wentz get a little payback.

Big time play. Didn’t just get a first down and slide, but plenty more yardage after the first down too.

Clutch.  We just need Wentz to be clutch.  He had a couple clutch plays.  His throw to TY on that crosser was absolute perfection.  Hit him in stride allowing him to pick up the 1st plus an extra 15.  If he stays within himself and just keeps making a few clutch plays each game, we can make a deep playoff run.

It was a lucky play to an extent but it also demonstrated what Wentz gives you that Rivers couldn't.

Yes.  After foot surgery and 2 sprained ankles, could it be that our QB is actually healthy for the first time this season?

Isn't this the 3rd week in a row that Wentz has had a clutch play to keep a drive alive?  Against Jax it was the laser to Pittman, the Houdini act against Buffalo, and today he had like a 15-yard run on 3rd and 12 to sustain a drive, where he left Suh gasping for air on the sideline.
